Operation Photo Rescue : give some of your time !
Hello fellow deviants!
Yesterday on my facebook timeline there was something very interesting! Adobe Photoshop was sharing the link of a website which is looking for volunteers to restore photos and to help in other ways. A lot of people have lost everything because of storms, tsunamis, hurricanes, etc... and their family pictures are often very damaged. So if you feel like giving some of your time for others, consider this website. It will make a lot of people very happy to see their memories being restored. No insurance can do it.

dAWishingWell
Hi guys!
Few days ago I found out a nice group. It's called dAWishingWell. %dAWishingWell (https://www.deviantart.com/dawishingwell)
Their goal is to grant wishes. When you join the group you can make a wish, it can be a daily deviation, more watchers, a print, or whatever you would like. Then, regularly, they pick random wishes and grant them.
I find the concept very lovely, and wanted to share it with you. Don't hesitate to join and make your wish, and most important don't hesitate to help granting wishes if you can. Sometimes it's only feedbacks or +watch, it's easy, and can bring a smile on people faces.
Self confidence
Hey guys !
I wanted to talk to you about self confidence as an artist. It's been almost 3 years now that I began to draw (started in december 2009) and I have to say that I really improved a lot since then. I've always like drawing, when I was a child I already liked it, but I never really put myself in it because everyone was like "eww it's crap" and my parents didn't care. I'm the sort of people who lacks self confidence in everuthing I do. When the time of choosing university came I still thought it wasn't worth to try an art school, or that kind of stuff, because I considered myself really bad and thought I had no chances to succeed.
