Exagreymon is a direct evolution of BlastGreydramon.
With DarknessShoutmon on the loose BlastGreydramon's need for revenge was high. Upon finding his target he attacked, but was badly beaten. DarknessShoutmon was too powerful. but he wouldnt give up, and was beaten countless times. It wasnt until BlastGreydramon needed to protect others that he realized the true purpose of his existence. It wasnt to avenge, it was to protect others from receiving the same fate as his friend... This realization cuased him to digivolve to a higher more powerful form. DarknessShoutmon better be ready.
