Name: Furue Owari
Registration ID: Akatsuki
Birthday: June 27
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Blood Type: A+
Zodiac: Cancer (♋)
Height: 5'5
Weight: 135 lbs
Hair: Furue has dirty blonde hair that falls to a bit below her shoulders at its maximum length, as it tends to get in her way if she allows it to grow any farther down. Her hair is fairly straight on a good day, but it tends to have a slight wave if she fails to keep it brushed on a regular basis, meaning most of the time. By far, it is not 'superstar' material. It has just barely enough curl to snarl, but not nearly enough to pass off as naturally curly. Her bangs fall a bit below her chin and frame her face in a mild way. This is generally the only hair you see close to her face, as the rest of her hair is worn in a ponytail that rises mid-way up her head, tied by a traditional red ribbon that falls on one side to her mid-back and the other side a bit above that.
Eyes: Her eyes are a basic hazel color, green near the pupil and a dull orange around the outside where an olive green circle is rung around it.
Home: Furue was born in the Kumogakure village.
Team: She abandoned her team when she chose to join the Akatsuki, as she didn't want any of them to be hurt or dragged along with her decsion
Sensei: Igaku Hanakoto
Teammates: Previously Sakebu Yatsuki and Nigiri Kanatou, but now OPEN
Rank: Jounin
Chakra Element: Lightning, as her village typically dictates
Family: Furue has a father named Oushiza and a mother named Gurima, but no siblings. Both of her parents remain alive and well, albeit a bit disappointed in their daughter's actions and choices.
Personality: The first thing one would notice upon meeting Furei is her complete and deeply-rooted love of nature and life. Her energy can be almost overwhelming; her mouth not jabbering on and on like one would expect from such optimism, but rather the fairly general amount of words that she speaks full of meaning and care. Furue is always willing to lift someone's spirits, whether they want her to or not. In a way, this can also be her undoing. There is no place in her mind for people who enjoy being dark and silent; there is no time on her schedule for people who just want to bring her down. She retains her own state of mind and holds it high, not letting it be broken down by anyone.

This aspect of her also presents her strong will. She is very positive of herself, not passing over to arrogant, but not falling anywhere near low esteem. She is fine with the way she is; it makes her happy and her heart feels at peace with the way she is. This, to her, is the determining factor of any decision. Whatever she feels is right and what she believes is best, that is what she will go with. This is not to say that she does not consider consequences of her actions, but rather she prefers her own happiness above what she considers minor repercussions.

In a way, this is a somewhat contradictory aspect of her personality. She values life and finds it to be the height of her joy, and she is nothing less than willing to make others feel better, yet she will never put someone else above herself. Furue is not cryptic and cold-- this is by far not the case. But the kunoichi will still put her life in front of the same people that she would comfort and be a shoulder to cry on for. Risking her life is acceptable in her mind, but if it gets to the point where her well-being is in critical jeopardy, she will, under all circumstances, back out.

Killing really does take a toll on Furue, however. She does not consider leaving an ally as 'killing', but cold-blooded, murdered by your own hands is hard to work around. As previously mentioned, Furue values life, whether she finds it in nature or in people. The only way she has been able to work her conscience around this concept, considering the group that she is apart of, is that she attacks only under the pretense of self-defense. She will go far out of her way to avoid taking someone's life, and if such an action is required, she will never make the first move. Murder is a severe crime in her mind, and therefore she could never do it without a strong pretense. Self-defense, the belief that not attacking would have endangered her life, is one of the only ways Furue knows how to cope.

Life Story: Furue was born to a middle-class ninja family, and a very happy one at that. Her parents were both reaching their mid-thirties to their early forties, and had yet to have a child to pin their hopes on. With the coming of Furue, it seemed that a miracle had taken place. When the Medic walked in with a pink blanket and a squirming baby wrapped in its warmth, Oushiza and Gurima Owari couldn't have been happier.

Furue grew up with all the support and love anyone could ever had asked for. Oushiza taught her the skill of a ninja, being a teacher in the Kumogakure Academy himself, and her mother, Gurima, taught her all else that she needed to know. Her parents loved her, and let her get away with anything she cared to do. But they had little to worry about; their child seemed to have her own set of morals and ideas, her own life and energy, that prevented her from doing anything completely stupid.

When she graduated from the Academy as a Chunin, she was set with an amazing sensei who truly seemed to care about his students, even if he didn't show it quite as openly as many would have liked. Her teammates didn't seem to enjoy her company quite as much, being best friends themselves since they were very young. Furue could never get quite close to them, as they seemed extremely fine with just the two of them, a third not needed nor wanted. However, Furue didn't let it bother her too much.

Skipping ahead a few years of ups and downs, Furue discovered the idea of the reformation of the group known as the Akatsuki during a mission she accepted. With an extensive amount of research that was brought on by the lack of willingness to speak on the subject, Furue carefully learned everything there was to know about this group. As she learned more and more about this group, she began to understand their point of view. It somehow clicked in her mind, their desire for the better of the world. Their principles, their laws, it just made so much more sense than anything else. Somehow, it just worked. She couldn't understand why, but her heart had fully accepted their ways.

At the age of 26, she made up her mind. Furue left her village, telling her parents her intentions and that she truly did love them, but she had to follow what she believed was right. Her parents discouraged her decision, but said that they would still be there for her no matter what. After a year or two of wandering with the status of a rogue Jounin, she finally stumbled upon the group.

Your OC's Opinion on the Konoha Ninja: Furue has nothing against any ninja from any village. She believes that what she is doing is right, and by default, the others are in the wrong. But she is hardly one to judge or hate people based on their opinions and choices. If their heart says that they are to protect their village and view her as an enemy, then that must be right in their case. It is simply not right in hers.
