History:

The world of Overon is notorious for its war-like nature, mostly due to its not so-recent discovery of the art of resurrection and the divine sciences. "Dreadnaught" Crow Neverborn is but one of the many great warriors rising through the ranks of the Rhondrallis nation.

His parents went missing when he was too young to remember, leaving him with his uncle, Eli Bauns, for care. Crow was an average child in his world, his interests shining upon the world of martial arts and combat. He got decent grades in school, but nothing too exceptional to be considered a prodigy. The only extra-curricular activity Crow subjected himself into was "Kurro Kai," meaning Blood Game in the Karokauf Language. Kurro Kai is a gladiator-like arena sport which people are thrown in to fight to the death. Since the age of technology and magic can cheat people from death, the concept of death isn't as much of a dark, taboo topic as it once was on the planet's history.

When Crow finished his final year in high school, he wondered what training he should receive when joining the military. Though he tried various styles of combat in his high school years, he ultimately desired to become a viscous killer like an assassin, yet wished to be more confrontational like a warrior. After speaking to his uncle about the matter, Crow found out about Rhondrallis secret "Super Soldier" program. His uncle turned out to be a scientist working on the project to create ultimate soldiers that can withstand any environment.

Through many harsh trials Crow became a powerful killer. He struggled through heat and cold, radiation poisons and diseases. Even extreme changes in g-forces and air and water pressure were conquered by these unique warriors. His body forced itself to adjust to every known environment, with the help of the scientists to catalyze the process of adaptation through genetic manipulation. Along with the trials of adaptation came combat of course, being pinned in one-on-one fights against his fellow subjects, as well as facing off against other enemy types from giant beasts to even hordes of ordinary militia men.
One of the features Crow decided upon was to replace his limbs with prosthetic, Carbon-plastic ones that carry blades for both his arms and legs. Most of the test subjects that aren't focused in the magical arts also had their limbs replaced. Giving him new limbs gave much greater capabilities and removed restraints that would hinder any other warriors, giving him extra strength and speed, and able to nullify pain in certain regions of his body when needed.

Before being sent out on his first military operation, he received a gift from his uncle. It was a chain necklace with a creepy-looking four-winged bird with a crimson diamond-shaped eye.  Crow was told that it contained a mystical power that has yet to be unleashed, yet he could never figure out how it worked, thus leaving him in denial.
Now he is sent to lead the Rhondrallis Special Task Force, a mission with great responsibility which he never was prepared for. Crow was trained to be a lone warrior, not for any sort of leadership position. He was reluctant to take the task, even neglecting to read his official orders until an hour before the entire army mobilized. It seems the nation decided to give him one more environment to adapt to.

Description:

Crow is a semi-tall figure with a healthy tone to his body, standing at 5 feet and 9 inches and weighing in about 200 pounds.  Piercing, dark crimson red eyes expresses an unusual sense of apathy. His black hair and stubble mustache compliments his intimidating look. Four long, slim bangs come just barely over his eyes. Half-pale skin with blades of hair sticking out on both sides of his head make him seem like a powerful, yet mysterious character.

A chain wraps comfortably around his neck, carrying a metal shaped into a four-winged black bird with a diamond-shaped red eye. This amulet is tucked under a long-sleeved black t-shirt decorated with 5 red circles on the front, and another 4 on the back, all of which connected with red lines. The middle circle is decorated with the symbol of two smaller circles and arcs connecting each of them, resembling Crow's ability to summon defensive plasma shields with the orbs connecting throughout his blades. The top left circle is etched with a very long claw going off into the distance, symbolizing his ability to extend either of his blades to incredible distances. The remaining circles are left empty, for Crow to have yet to unlock more of his abilities.

Dark gray sweat-pants works well for his mobility. The sleeves on both the leggings and the shirt are cut open to allow Crow access with his weaponry hidden inside his prosthetic limbs. A fine, jagged blade erupts out of both of his arms connecting up to his shoulder. The blades on his arms carry a red orb along the wrist, the elbow, and the shoulder itself. The leg blades are built similar with the orbs placed near the knees and ankles. The leg blades, however, form claws bellow his feet as if it would transform Crow into the bird he's named after. His blades are both flexible and durable, able to bend at his will by gripping either his toes or fists.

Personality:

Crow doesn't usually find enjoyment in his life, the most common emotions he expresses are boredom and anger. He's the type that can get frustrated easily, and when he does it has a tendency to frighten his squad mates.  He only focused on his goals in becoming a stronger warrior and getting by in school. Crow cares not for social matters. Even women and sports outside of Kurro Kai are the furthest things from his mind. He always kept to his serious ways of contemplation, often being criticized for being stuck up.

However, now being forced to take the role of leading a significant force for his nation, his focus is now to get whatever objective done without a second thought. His frustration in the group lies with the inability to take any of them seriously, with the exception for a very few. With each passing moment however he does learn to manage and adapt to his new position, learning to relax little by little as he adapts to his new friends, and slowly finding enjoyment from the silliness that incurs in their adventures.

Dreadnaught Crow Neverborn. His initial mission is to lead his team of eight specialists to assassinate the leaders of the Elemental Kingdom and provide a secured means for the army to seize the four nations. Desperate economic times are taking place on the nation of Rhondrallis, and with this war effort to take over the pearl and diamond productions of the nations of the elements, they all hope to restore prosperity to their people.
