So I've finally decided to put up a commissions post! I will be taken a limited number of commissions per month on the following items, which are mostly parts of Loki cosplay.
- Helmet(Avengers style): This will be a one-size-fits-most type of helmet but with otherwise be very similar to the one I've worn in my cosplays. The only difference will be that mine was made to fit my face very closely so keep that in mind! The helmets I make will be more of a One-Size-Fits-All type to ensure it will fit MOST people who order but I'll ask for your head measurement anyway. You will also be responsible for padding the inside of your helmet to ensure it fits your head well!
- Vambraces/Bracers: Comes with elastic straps on the underside to help keep them in places on your forearms.
- Chest-strap Armor: Does not include the strap unless you special order it from me as well.
- Leg armor panels: Completed panels to be sewed into your pants.
- Zipper Trim: I will sell this by yards or you may ship me your costume WIP and indicate where the trim goes and I will apply it myself by hand. This is a very long process so keep that in mind! It comes in both silver and gold.
More may be added to this list in the future but for now this is what I'm offering! If you commission any of these items from me I will include a sheet with the items and materials used while creating them for future touch-ups and such. I will also be updating my journal at my DA account(lanedevlin.deviantart.com) AND my tumblr(guaje.tumblr.com) with progress and photos as I go along. Keep in mind that these items will be made with thermo-plastics, plastic resin, fiberglass and various glues/clays/paints! None of this is by any means indestructible and should be taken care of and handled properly! The helmets WILL break if they're not taken care of and kept somewhere safe when not in use. But I will include extra instructions on how to repair and what materials to use to do so. You will always be able to email me if you need something! I will happily answer any other questions you have as well, I'm here to help! That said, PLEASE keep in mind that I'm new to this. I taught myself how to sculpt/make molds/cast in resin for the sole purpose of making myself these items for my Loki cosplay. They're not perfect by any means and I'm constantly learning as I go.
Now for pricing! Next to the price I'll also list how many commission slots I have open for each item, which will be updated often. In order for me to begin your commission I will need half of the cost of your item, which will be non-refundable since that cost will go to the purchase of materials for your commission. Once I receive the complete payment your item will be shipped. Here we go:
Helmet: $350 (slots open for July-December so message for details!)
Vambraces/Bracers: $100
Chest-strap Armor: $50
Leg Armor Panels: $60 for each panel.
Shipping! I will ship anywhere but the buyer will have to pay for the shipping, which will be calculated after you commit to buy. Keep in mind that if you live outside of the United States the shipping can get pretty expensive! If you order a helmet please be aware that due to the horns, the size of the box I ship them in is quite large, which adds on an extra cost at the post office. Shipping for these things begins at $30 for shipping within the US! More may be added due to where I'm shipping and within what time frame!
Other Notes: The helmet commissions take a long time to complete, so keep that in mind and be patient with me! It's a long, time consuming process and I will try to get your helmet finished as quickly as possible but I'll always post updates on progress/delays. If you do have a deadline you need your commission by PLEASE let me know that when you commit to buy and not afterward, so I can make sure that I'll be able to fit it in during the time frame given. Helmet Commission Progress Pics
So I'm finally able to put up some photos for you! This was a little delayed due to some very personal family issues that transpired this week. I was out of town until early Tuesday morning in which I came home to found out my mother was missing. We couldn't find her for two days and once we did she was in bad shape. This morning we had to put her into rehab so I apologize the delay until today. But all is well and I was able to gather some photos for you.

We had another inevitable snag...but!
But all is well! Today is silicone, tomorrow is master mold and then once that's finished it's time for casting and assembling the helmets! Sanding takes up a lot of time but once that's finished I slap some paint on there, age it a little, and then we're set! I'll hopefully be able to start throwing some pictures up for ya'll next week. Sorry for all of the snags in the plans but now there's nothing that should slow me down anymore!

can you tell me the head circumference for the helmet and weight. Also, I was wondering if we could have the helmet in hand by July 25. We make costumes ourselves and are working on several new ones and just don't think we will be able to get to finish this one which is for my son and the others for the upcoming events. We dress up for different childrens charities around the midwest (our Facebook page is: midwest heroes) and have several coming up that my son would like to attend. We are also interested in the
vambraces/Bracers,Chest-strap Armor,Leg Armor Panels also but not a huge priority right away.
