I am offering literature commissions for the following genres/specifics and some other special services as well. My prices and restrictions are listed at the bottom of each section.

Prices are in :points: (points), but if you would prefer to pay me in actual money, we can work something out.

I will try to be timely with all commissions and will not accept any further requests if I have multiple commissions that are unfinished. That being said, I will usually place no time guarantees on my work because different projects require different time commitments, and I don't want to produce shoddy pieces for anyone.

Literature

:bulletpurple: Short Stories

:bulletpurple: Poetry (multiple styles and forms)

:bulletpurple: Fan Fiction for...

  • Doctor Who (10th and 11th, primarily)
  • Sherlock
  • Harry Potter
  • Artemis Fowl
  • Ranger's Apprentice
  • Merlin
  • Sword Art Online (anime, not light novels)
  • DC or Marvel superheroes (limited characters)
  • Others (Feel free to ask!)

    • You can request other television shows or books, but if I am not very familiar with it, I cannot write it for you.

    • Also, please ask me about movies, because even if I have not seen a film, I may be willing to watch it (although commissions for films I have not already seen cost a bit more).

    • I am willing to write most romances and relationships, whether canon or non-canon. This includes incorporating OCs into a fandom universe. I will also write crossovers, subject to all my other requirements.

    • I am happy to write characters who are gay, bu, asexual, transgender, genderqueer, etc.

    • Unfortunately, I cannot write fan fiction for most anime or manga because I simply do not watch or read it.

Very Important:

I can only write a piece for you if you give me something to work with (storyline, characters, situation, emotion, etc.) If I begin a piece and feel I don't have enough to go on, I may contact you with questions or for more input. I want whatever I produce to satisfy you, so if I ask for more information, it's just to avoid creating something that wasn't what you wanted.

Prices

:bulletgreen: 5000:points: per page (about 1000 words).

:bulletgreen: In the case of poetry, price is negotiable because a poem often does not take up the entire page like a story does. Poems could cost closer to 2500-4000:points: per page.

Critiques and Editing

:bulletpurple: I will offer critiques for :points:. This includes what I think works in your piece, and what could be improved. I will always strive to be respectful, but I will be honest, so don't pay for this service if you only want praise. This is intended to help you improve your work. Samples of my critiques can be found on my profile or by using the tab on the right of this journal.

  • I can critique your piece simply by looking at it, but I am happy to address specific questions of yours about the piece instead of or in addition to my own observations.

  • I offer critiques for both visual artwork and literature of all types, but if your piece is fan art of any sort, please consider what I can and cannot write about (above) when asking me to do a critique. If you need samples of my artwork, please feel free to look through my gallery. You will see I have experience with a wide range of mediums.

  • Critiques will be sent to you in a note when completed. I will only post the critique as a comment on your deviation's page or as an official critique (on a critique-able piece) if you request it.

:bulletpurple: I will proofread your piece for grammar, spelling, usage, and related errors. I may also offer suggestions about sentence structure or organization if anything particular strikes me.
  • Again, feel free to send me direct, specific questions about sections of your piece, or the entire work as a whole.

  • I am happy to address specific aspects of editing if you only want me to focus on organization or on commas, for example.

  • I am an extremely picky proofreader and am always very specific about grammar, usage, etc. That being said, I obviously cannot guarantee that I will not miss something, so please don't make me your only source.

  • You pay me for the mistakes I find, so check things like spelling before you send me a piece!

:bulletpurple: I can also read a piece simply to offer you general input on your writing. This might incorporate aspects of critique and proofreading, and I am once again happy to answer specific questions about components of your piece.

Prices

:bulletgreen: Critiques: 15:points: per paragraph of critique. Paragraphs are 4 to 6 sentences long. You can specify a number of paragraphs beforehand (exact or rough estimate) or simply pay for however many I feel it takes to give you my feedback.

:bulletgreen: Proofreading and Input: 5:points: per error or suggestion. If you do not specifically ask for organization or sentence suggestions, I will try to keep this to a minimum to avoid charging you for unwanted input. You can also specify that you want only grammar or only punctuation editing. The price may be negotiable for basic proofreading (spelling, punctuation, etc.).

:bulletgreen: If this is a written piece, I charge 5:points: extra per page of your work for anything over two pages. This is simply because it takes me a much longer time to read (and re-read) a longer piece of work in order to write an in-depth critique or to edit it.

Illustration (Drawing)

I am happy to sketch a character or object in your piece of writing, especially if it is a piece I have edited or critiqued. You can feel free to use said sketch as a cover image for your piece, or as inspiration, or whatever you need. I will also draw fan art, pictures of your OC, etc. More extensive drawing commissions are evaluated and accepted on an individual basis, but please do not hesitate to ask!

:bulletpurple: Sketches are pencil or pen, hand-drawn and scanned onto the computer. I will edit the picture before it gets to you to ensure the best possible quality.

:bulletpurple: For examples of my colored pencil work and some of my older sketches, please see my Scrapbook (found on the left side of my Gallery tab under Scraps).

Prices

:bulletgreen: 150:points: for an object (black and white) +100:points: for each additional object.

:bulletgreen: 400:points: for a portrait (black and white) +200:points: for each additional person.

:bulletgreen: 600:points: for a full-body character (black and white) +300:points: for each additional person.

:bulletgreen: +1000:points: for color.

:bulletgreen: + 25:points: if the image is based on a piece of writing that I have not previously edited or critiqued. This is simply because it takes time to read a piece, so if I haven't already read it, it will require more time and thought to gain an idea of the characters or imagery.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to request examples of my work!

If it's all right with you, may commission you for a sketch of an OC of mine and a Canon character?
