TWILIGHT CHAPTER 3~ THE QUEST FOR LAUGHTER

MANEHATTEN ZONE ACT 3
~In The Dark Side Of Town

Manehatten has a new visitor. Sonic's battle isn't over here yet. As soon as Sonic steps away from Pinkie, Metal Sonic flies by out of nowhere and Sonic runs after him. Right behind, the purple unicorn, Twilight is close by. Twilight sees the two blue blurs and pursues them. She charges through brightening streets of the city shooting every obstacle in her way and applies her running and jumping to build up enough speed to catch up to the two fast moving blurs. Everypony that comes in her way is shot down on sight and freed. She looks up to see the two blue blurs again going over the sky and rooftops. Twilight decides to take her chase to the rooftops as well. She jumps and warps up the platforms to ascend.

Twilight: There they are! *Gets to the top* Hmm... Could one of them be Tails' friend? If only I could get a better view. I think he said his name was "Sonic". *Goes after them and sees what they look like. One organic, the other artificial* Ah! Now I see!

Sonic: Alright, Metal Sonic! You're really getting on my nerves! C'mon! I'll send ya back to Eggman's junkyard where ya belong!

Twilight: M-Metal Sonic?! *Flashes back to Eggman and Metal Sonic*

Eggman: OH! Look at that! A volunteer! Perhaps YOU would like to experience the power of the Egg-ine Saddle first! I do like an eager test subject!  HA! Good try, but no! Well done, Metal Sonic! That's right! Now hold'er their! HOHOHOHOHOOO!!!

Twilight: *Flashes forward to now* NGH! That.... Soulless mechanical monster works for him! *Burns up angry* I'll get him for what that! *Horn glows with static discharge*

Metal Sonic catches sight of Twilight's energy readings and charges at her, leaving his fight with Sonic. Sonic tries to trip him up, but misses. He sees the unicorn over on the roof and then quickly moves in to knock Metal away. When Twilight tries to attack, Metal dodges and counters with a Maximum Overdrive Tackle. Sonic tries to boost to intercept, but Metal moves too fast. Twilight almost takes the hit. Just before Metal hits, Pinkie Pie appears and attacks with her-

Pinkie: PINKIE PIE PARTY CANNON!!!!! *Hits Metal at point blank range and he flies back to get hit by Sonic*

Sonic: HEI-YEAH!!! *Stomps Metal downward* Nice shot!

Twilight: Pinkie?! Thank goodness you're alright!

Pinkie: Yeah! I thought the same thing as soon as I saw my reflection in a window! Speaking of reflections, did you see how shiny that metal blue thing was? You could TOTALLY see your reflection if you stared at its huge head! Seriously! It's like Rarity polished that thing shinier than any of her gems! But then again, Spike probably would've eaten it by now. So anyways, how are you, Twilight?

Twilight: I've been better. How did you get away?

Pinkie: I didn't. That spiky blue guy saved me after we had one hay of a party! It was SOOO much fun! It was so fun I could just go back to Act 2 and do it all again!

Twilight: Pinkie.... *Shakes head* Nevermind! Look, I need to catch up to them but they're going too fast. Can you help me out?

Pinkie: Gladly! Then again, I'd gladly do ANYTHING! Especially for a Klondike Bar! Say! Sonic got 100+ Rings, didn't he?

Twilight: Huh? Uh... I don't know, why?

Pinkie: Because that means you can do your next thing! *Pushes button on Party Cannon and it fires out..... a Special Zone portal?!* TA-DAAA!!!

Twilight: *Jaw drops* UH?! WHAT?! HOW?!?!

Pinkie: WHY WHERE WHEN WHO?!?!?!?? *Giggling*

Twilight: I... forget it! I'll take it! Thanks, Pinkie! Stay here! I'll be back soon!

Pinkie: Oki Doki Loki! *Pulls out record player with a JAM Project record and plays it as Twilight goes through the next Special Zone and starts dancing* WEEHEE!!!

SPECIAL ZONE ACT 3
~The Element of Laughter

Same gameplay, but now with more exploding spikeballs and U.F.O.'s trying to shoot her to take away her speed and Ring Energy. Though at the same time, Twilight can shoot them to get speed ups or Ring boxes to boost her own stats. So there is an advantage to them. Twilight makes it through to the end where her friend, Pinkie Pie appears to cheer her on!

Twilight: Pinkie! What're you dancing to?

Pinkie: The song you're winning to! It rocks! Anyway, it looks like you're about to get my Element! WOW this is amazing!!!

Twilight: Just so long as you're not hurt.

Pinkie: Hey! Sometimes ya gotta stop worrying so much! Just smile! Remember my song!

Twilight: *Smiles back* I couldn't ever forget your songs, Pinkie.

Pinkie: Yeah! Go for it, Twilight! You can do it! Don't worry! BE HAPPY! WHEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Twilight: *Light smile switches to a determined one as she closes in on the last target* I won't fail! This is for you, my friend! FOR PINKIE PIE! *Smashes right through and reclaims the next Element* Got it! *Warps away*

ELEMENT OF LAUGHTER ACQUIRED!

Twilight returns next to Pinkie and sees the blue blurs in the distance. She asks Pinkie for one more favor. She needs to catch up to them as fast as possible.

Pinkie: Say no more! I got just the thing! *Takes Twilight and shoves her into the Party Cannon* FIRE IN THE PLOTHOLE!

Twilight: Rainbow's right, you are *FIRES* RANDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

Pinkie: YAY!

Twilight flies at the two blue hedgehogs with her horn glowing and her trajectory locked onto Metal. The next battle begins!

Pinkie: In the next part! This one's kinda gone on long enough.

Will you quit breaking the fourth wall and stick to the script already?!

Pinkie: You're the one writing it! Anyways, *Ahem* TO BE CONTINUED.... OOOWEEEOOOOO!!!!!

HEY! That's my line! Minus the noise....
