Theory One: Who is Zira?

I read an unusual theory that explained who Zira might have been. (In some strange AU) A theory I mused on for a while.

After Mufasa's death, and the coronation of King Scar, the King comes to realization that he needs an heir. So, who is better to court than his brother's widow, the Queen of the Pridelands? Maybe it was to prove he was better than his older brother. Or maybe Sarabi sacrificed herself when the King's lurking eye fell on the matured Nala? No one knows, but Sarabi gives birth to Scar's cub. A female. Zira.

But a female can't succeed the throne. Not in Scar's eyes. So, what does he do? Abandons Sarabi as his mate and role as Zira's father. But the harm was already done. Zira wants the throne and if she cannot have it, she'll raise someone who can.

Don't hate me. I'm kind of fascinated by this theory. And I did not alter Zira's colors to match Sarabi's. They were taken from a screenshot.
