Exchange Student (Karkat x Reader) part 5

You woke up the next morning, squished on the couch right next to Karkat. You had the best night ever, seriously. You and Karkat commented about the Real Housewives for… You don't really remember how long. You decided to show him Family Guy after a few episodes. He said, and quote, "What the fuck am I even watching?"
You guess you fell asleep sometime after midnight or so. You have no idea how long Karkat stood up after you fell asleep, but either way. It was nice. You turned over to your clock on the wall…

10:34!? Dear GOD, you're late… But you know what? Screw it. Your teacher might know that you're taking care of him because he's a 'foreign exchange student' and think he needs to get to know the place.
… That's actually pretty spot-on, now that you think about it.

That's when reality came back to you. Karkat really is foreign. And he has to go back to his home. Even though you've seemed to have developed feelings for him, he can't stay here.
You carefully got up from the couch to not wake him up and tiptoed to your computer. Pressing the spacebar, your computer buzzed awake. As you clicked on your internet browser, you couldn't help but steal a glance to Karkat. He really did look cute when he was asleep…

You turned back to your computer and went on to Google. It's at least the first place you can try to see if something similar happened. You typed in: 'strange teenagers transported to earth'.
Up came some of the worst sci-fi stories you have ever seen and some shitty tabloids.

God, what were you thinking? Why even try to Google something that's so stupid in the first place? You sighed, then shut your computer off. Well, you've already decided that you aren't going to school today, so you can relax a little bit. You noticed that Karkat had woken up.

"Aren't you supposed to be in hell right about now?" Karkat asked. You shook your head. "No, I was just trying to…"
How should you say this without making him think you just want him out of your life?
"I was trying to get on my computer to check my email."
Karkat raised an eyebrow, then slumped into your chair and turned on the computer without a question. "What are you doing?" you asked, semi annoyed he got onto your own computer without asking to.

He seemed to ignore you, then began typing in some sort of website address. 'Trollian'? Once the site booted up on the monitor, he instantly clicked 'log in'. This was pretty confusing. You've never heard of Trollian before. Much less knew the thing existed.

Once he logged in as 'carcinoGeneticist', he pulled up a chatroom. It reminded you of Pesterchum, actually. Though, you never really got on it much to try and find people to talk to. Karkat instantly clicked on the only online handle in his … 'Chumps'… List, twinArmageddons and began typing away.
Right now, you were just confused at what was happening. So, Karkat just got onto YOUR computer with YOUR personal stuff on it, including YOUR embarrassing fanfictions and logged onto a chatroom to talk with some random dude…

You didn't exactly want to eavesdrop, but this could be interesting…

Turning to Karkat, he seemed to have a pleased look on his face. "Who was that?" you asked as he got up from your chair. "Just my asshole friend or whatever. He's a lisping hacker that makes all sorts of useless shit that's always a big waste of my time. If he can SOMEHOW make something to get me back, he'll probably expect me to owe him one… Which I will."

Well, that clarifies that there are indeed other aliens like him out there.
