I have been a Game of Thrones fan for many years even before it was fashionable. When I read the first book about 15 years ago I was hooked and I am enormously looking forward to the next TV season and of course the next book. What I do like about the books is you see histories and characters through the eyes of another’s point of view. You hear from the jealous and bitter King Robert how evil Prince Rhaegar Targaryen is but you get quite a different picture from a great many others.
