Lilitu - Year Two

Personal Information
Likes: Lilitu adores animals (though certain species don't exactly fancy her in return). She's especially fond of wild-looking felines; her favorite species is the serval.
Reading about history is one of Lili's favorite pastimes, as well as studying famous murder cases. She enjoys classical and orchestral music, as well as chiptune. The combination of these interests has lead to her occasionally playing "detective", a habit she has no intention of breaking. Listening to quiet violin solos while solving the "puzzles" in her homework is far too fun.
Logic puzzles are another relaxing hobby for Lili. She loves the wave of accomplishment that she feels whenever she solves a mystery.
Dislikes: Salt has never been a favorite for Lili, as with most demons. She tends to avoid overly-salty foods, and rarely adds it to her meals. The substance can weaken or even block her abilities, so she tries to limit her intake as best she can.
Lili dislikes those she describes as "weakminded". Although they're easy to manipulate, she prefers the company of those who can match her intellectually.
Her love of detective-play has also granted her a strong distaste for infidelity and lies. Any mistruth could earn a person at least a slap if Lilitu is around, or even a scolding if they stick around long enough.
Fears: Lilitu is absolutely terrified of failure. Her goal is to perform at her absolute best, no matter what the task. As this is impossible, however, she winds up facing her fear on a fairly regular basis. If she's convinced she's failed, at anything, she'll often shut down completely or seek out a quiet, empty space to berate herself. More often than not, she'll avoid a situation completely to avoid risking a defeat.
To a much smaller degree, Lili is afraid to speak in public. It's fairly common in people her age, and her anxiety over this may just be caused by her fear of failure.
Strengths:Lilitu has developed her natural abilities just a bit during her first year attending Otherworlde Academy. Her possession is still basically useless, but her telepathy is much stronger than it was before her classes. This is mostly due to the need to communicate with her familiar, Triton. She can communicate with him perfectly, though she still struggles to speak to anyone else, even if she's bonded with them. She can't speak to strangers telepathically at all.
In the case of physical confrontation, if it absolutely can't be avoided, Lilitu can use the sharp spikes on her elbows to inflict painful stab wounds.
Weaknesses: Lilitu is, as previously mentioned, extremely vulnerable to the purifying effects of salt. She's also incredibly allergic to holy water, which makes her break out in a horrible rash.
Although Lili has strong reasoning abilities, she has a massive weak spot for those she perceives as "attractive" or "cute". She's a sucker for a pretty face.
In the event that someone catches her playing detective, she gets incredibly embarrassed; however, she tends to lapse into that mindset without thinking. She gets caught far more often than she'd like to admit.
Lili is a perfectionist, to the point where she'll erase her name on a paper multiple times if her handwriting doesn't satisfy her.
Goals: Lilitu's main goal is to become a professor. However, she isn't completely certain she'd like to pursue that kind of career just yet. After all, she's still young and has time to change her mind.
Personality: Lilitu has a tendency to be a bit serious, sometimes even a "killjoy". However, she has been known to loosen up around friends, and even crack a joke or two. She often avoids the company of those she perceives as "bullies", and has even stood in defense of their victims before. A proper lady should always protect those who need protection, and as a lady, Lili would never stand idly by and allow someone else to get hurt. The only exception to this rule is when karma comes into play. Occasionally, she'll forget to be a "lady" and allow someone to suffer if she believes they deserve it.
History:Lilitu's high-class upbringing instilled several strong beliefs in her throughout her childhood. Her parents stressed the importance of manners and behaving like a lady, a belief which she still follows to this day.
Her mother and father expected a lot from young Lili, maybe even too much. Often times, Lili would be put under strong pressure to perform, this pressure being the core of her current kakorrhaphiophobia. If she did fail, she could often sense her parents' disappointment, even if they tried not to show it. If she met expectations, however, she'd be showered with praise and often earned material rewards.
When she was about seven years old and still dumb enough to not think her actions through, Lili managed to pick the lock on a cupboard and stole the bottle of holy water that her parents had often used to punish her. When she attempted to pour it out in the sink, it splashed onto her face. Her attempts to wipe it away only managed to spread it into her right eye, and the resulting damage caused a total loss of vision. It is for this reason that Lili wears her blindfold, to hide the scarred tissue and protect her injured eye.
Needless to say, her parents soon stopped punishing her with holy water burns.

Since attending Otherworlde Academy, Lilitu has managed to open up a bit more. She's made some friends, and is much more relaxed in the company of strangers. She's even revealed her scar to her closest friends.
She's also managed to find herself a familiar. The little one-eyed kitten has grown some since she found him, but he's still just as attached to her. The two can communicate telepathically, due to a combination of Lilitu's natural ability and their close bond. They cover each others' blind spots, as they're missing the opposite eyes.

Misc. Information:
Lilitu has no right eye. It was melted out.
She has an average healing rate, unless the injury was caused by holy water or any other purified weapon. Wounds inflicted with these will always heal slowly.
Her small stature, of course, comes with a lack of physical strength. For this reason, she tries her best to avoid physical combat.
What she lacks in size, she makes up for in strategy.
