Team FUBAR M7-2

Hours later, CuJario started to stir. He felt the sensation of being carried by strong, yet soft arms. Resting against the individual that was holding him as if he was a child, he slowly opened his eyes to see white and blue fur, as well as yellow predatory eyes looking ahead with a keen alertness to them. Identifying the one carrying him as a Zangoose wearing black goggles, a much welcomed familiar face was within CJ's visage.

"Sammy? Is that you..?" CuJario asked, causing the Zangoose to halt and look down.

"Hold up, Allegro—he's awake now," she spoke up. It was indeed Sammy, one of CuJario's closest and most trusted friends.

"'Ey, the old dog is alive? Good to hear you didn't end up carrying dead weight all that time." Another less familiar voice spoke. It sounded male, with an accent that did not seem familiar either.

"CJ, are you alright..? We found you passed out against a tree. Sorta sobbing in your sleep…" Sammy spoke softly about the last part, keeping it out of Allegro's range of hearing. CuJario's ears then shot up in alarm, remembering what happened with Mia… and Noa!

"Where is Noa!? Is she alright!?" CuJario demanded, concern heavy within his voice.

"Calm down CJ, she's back at Tao. When that blast happened, she couldn't find you or Scarlet, so she assumed you went back to Tao and headed there to find you." Sammy explained, her ears starting to fold back a bit.

"W-What's wrong..? Is she alright? What was that blast?" He asked, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he spoke.

"I'm honestly not sure myself, but a messenger from Tao contacted us and said there are a bunch of mons missing, even within Tao, and they think Jasmine mass-teleported a whole bunch of our friends, possibly even Scarlet if you haven't found her. Either way there is a lot going on back at the village, and we are headed there now if you wanna tag along." Sammy explained, taking a breath.

"Crap… I'm sorry Sammy." CJ's ears folded back in disappointment.

"It's fine. You able to walk?" She asked, obviously wondering since she had previously been carrying CJ since finding him.

"Yeah, thanks for carrying me and such…" CJ made his way out of Sammy's arms, regaining his balance quickly. He felt some pain in his back, but obviously ignored the hell out of it as he usually did.

"Well this reunion is nice and all, but can we get a move on to Tao?" Allegro spoke up, sounding a bit irked.

"The kid is right, all three of us have work to do. Let's hurry home." CuJario nodded, starting in the direction of the village. Sammy and Allegro followed the determined mon, not questioning what happened before they found him.
