Journey of the Two Brothers
PART I : THE AMERICAN DREAM
Chapter 1 : The Beginning

It was just another normal day as a 16 year old teenager at Manhattan when I was walking down the Central Park with my 2 years younger brother named Alex.

The park is hot and humid this day, as a lot of pedestrians walking inside the park, I don't know that this very day will change our lives forever.

"Hey,Frank how about we sit and talk near the pool while we eat our food",Alex suggested.

"Sure, why not",I responded.

"Allright, then let's go", and with that he ran to the pool.

My brother is quite hyperactive most of the times, but not everytime,he always excited on almost everything that happened. Alex hyperactivity always annoyed me most of the times because he always asked me to join him on whatever he is working on. I then arrived at the pool to find Alex already waited for me to arrive.

"C'mon Frank, why you're always so slow all the time", he yelled from the pool.

"Relax a little will you,man don't get to hyperactive all the time", I yelled annoyed.

"Finally you're here now let's eat out meal shall we",he opened the box we were carrying.

Inside the box were my favorite meal of all time, bread with cheese and meat. Alex had a simple soda and some cheese without bread for eating as that is his favourite.

"Now let's eat shall we",I started.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh",Alex responded.

"What uh ?", I snapped back annoyed while looking at his eyes and I realized then that his pupil are now thin slits and his irises is crimson red rather than a brown one.

"What's wrong with your eyes Alex",I asked confusely.

"Your eyes too, look to the pool", I then looked at the pool surprised that my pupil turn into thin slits, the irises are now colored bright blue just like Alex.

"What happened to my eyes and your eyes",  I responded literally scared.

"Wait my eyes too ?", he then looked toward the pool and surprised as well as me.

"What's going on here", suddenly I realized that my fingers are replaced with three blood  red claws when I looked at them.

My brother hands are growing some fur and they're paws!!! when I looked at them, I'm literally surprised as well as panicking at this revelation when suddenly a shout took us out of the state of panic.

"You're one of them", a man shouted while pointing at us.

Then everything went downhill from that , the nearby pedestrians upon hearing the shout suddenly  marched towards us  while taking out some canister, we literally panicking at that rate. The crowd closing in on us when I realized Alex has been sprayed in the face by one of the pedestrians and passed out.

"ALEX!!!!!!",I ran towards the man and punched him literally sending him flying to the other pedestrians, I was surprised at my strength.

"Did I just do that ?",  I grabbed Alex  then started carrying him piggyback.

But it was no use the crowd surrounded us at that point , I realized the only way to flee is to jump to the pool and swam away. Without thinking I jumped to the pool and swam toward the otherside of the pool.When I got out of the pool with my brother on my back he then started waking up.

"What's going on , the last thing I remember is being sprayed in.........". Not now just hang on a bit I'm going to explain everything later, I then started running out with the pedestrians pool chasing us.

The entire pedestrians of Central Park by merely seeing us already started marching to us all of the sudden, with the entire park chasing us I guessed this is a bad day for the two of us then. The streets are deadly dangerous it seems that nearly everyone is chasing us , I thought all hope is lose when running with my brother on my back when I spotted my car in the distance near the park.

"YES,THE CAR". I then run for the car hoping to gain some distance from crowd that still chasing us.

Once I reached the car, I put Alex on the front seat and immediately then I started the car. The psychos outside is really banging outside the car and one broke the window and grabbed me.

"LET ME GO!!!!!", without thinking I hit the gas and the one who grabbed me suddenly let me go and left behind, luckily I didn't hit anyone along the way.

"Frank,... where are we going", Alex asked.

"Going home, just hope that mom and dad is not shocked to dead when looking at our eyes and claws also your paws", I responded sarcastically.

After that Alex sleep again, the effect of the gas still lingered, I drove carefully down to Chelsea District trying not to draw anymore unwanted attention by the pedestrians, I kept the window up to make sure no one looked toward us. Finally, we got home, I parked the car in the garage next door.

"Hey,Alex wake up we're home", my brother then started waking up .

"Allright,come on then", he and me exited the car and made sure no sees our hands as we headed inside.

"Mom, dad we're home", " In here honey", Alex and me made my way upstairs to mom and dad bedroom but we heard them talking about something.

"Honey, they're going to transform soon we should take them to Washington D.C Base","But how do we know that they're going to transform soon","We must bring them to the base and then we can explain everything there, we must protect them from Pokextinction".

Against our better judgement, we entered the room."Mom, what is Pokextinction."I began.

Suddenly our parents shocked when they looked at our hands and eye."Honey, they're began transforming","Then we must bring them to Long Island Base". They then approached us taking of their rings they always wore and suddenly they transformed, our mom into Lucario and our father into Zoroark, just like in the Pokemon game.

"Mom,dad, what is going one here","Sorry, for this but we must do this for your own good","Let's get out of here", Alex shouted.

"Let's get back to the car", I shouted back literally scared.

"Frank, Alex - hey, wait!"
"Get away from us!", I screamed in my father's face, and he backed up a few steps - all the headstart we needed, really.
"Wait! Just let us explain-"

We got to the back to the garage, and into the car. Alex was well and truly panicking by this point: "Start the car up, idiot!"
"I'm trying! I'm trying!"

It took me a few frustrated seconds too long to get the keys into the ignition - suddenly, both our parents were right beside the car, pleading to us.
"Wait, will ya? We need to talk!", our father begged - but it was too late for that now. With a cough and a roar, the engine came to life, and I stepped on the gas - nearly running over my parents.

"FRANK, ALEX WAIT!!!!!!!", both our parents shouted.

"What just happened back there",Alex asked clearly sound scared.

"I don't know but we cannot trust anyone now not even our parents because of what just happened, let's get out of the city and to the countryside and hide",I suggested.

"But we're alone there, how are we supposed to take...."
"I'll take care of you I promise you that, but for now let's just get out of the city and without getting any psychos chasing us", I then noticed his paws started growing some kind of grey or maybe black fur.

"Uh , Alex you might want to check your hand" I told him quite surprised.

He checked his hands then looked very surprised when he looked into my hands as well. "Your hands too look", I looked at my hands at the steering wheel with fur just like my brother right now except my fur is grey , I surprised it took me a while to realize that during the craziness with our mom and dad.

"Are you transforming into Lucario",I responded slowly.

"Yeah, I think so, are you transforming into Zoroark",Alex responded panicking.

"I think so", I told him as calmly as I could.

"Man, this is too crazy, first we're transforming into something that doesn't exist, second I'm sprayed in the face and then attacked by some psychos, third we're witnessed our parents transformed into ......","Relax Alex, don't panic, scared or anything , I'm going to take care of you for a while",I told him with a smile.

"Allright, I trust you Frank",
"You could trust me with anything Alex, you're my brother after all "  
"Where are we going", "Outside New York, countryside just like I said before, we should try and get away from the city for a while", I then started driving into the distance with full speed.

We have been driving for quite a while and it was sunset by the time we arrive at the country side hiding at the plain meadows. It was to be our home a month, I don't know if this situation is bad or worse but for now I have a brother to take care of.

"We're here let's hide for a few weeks",I told Alex.

"What are we going to do ?",he asked.

"Just sleep for a while I'll watch before going to sleep myself", I shrugged.

And with that he went off to a deep sleep, as I watched the sun is setting wondering what will happen next that we're transforming into Zoroark and Lucario from the Pokemon games with one deep question in my mind.

"What's going to happen to us ?".
