Power:
His candles can be used like timers, when they go out whatever spell or magic he’s placed on them activates. His favorite spell he can still use is a nightmare spell, when the candle goes out all those in a 20-foot radius fall asleep into horrendous nightmares.

Strengths: He is always calm and collected in most situations. Zero sense of taste, he can’t taste most things he eats and will eat anything when handed to him that he is told to eat. He does know combat skills involved with his scythe but most of his abilities are sealed up.

Weaknesses: He cannot stand not knowing something or secrets. His morals, He always follows them even though they often get him in trouble.

Goals: Graduate and get out of the school as fast as possible. The sooner he’s out the quicker he can continue searching for that person…

Personality: He has the power of no expressions, (AKA when stupid/abnormal/crazy/ or bad shit goes down he never seems to phased by it.) he is borderline cold hearted and cruel. Little to nothing moves him physically or emotionally. Mentally he is very much a reasonable yet stubborn person. His thoughts on a person are hard to change. However those he does open up to are the closest people he can find and that’s where his disobedient side starts showing, he will protect them and care for them above anyone else.
He has been known to be slightly perverted around those he likes and loves to tease them in a cold off handed manner. Sex to him is just a form of body sharing and holds little value to him.

History:

Far off past:

He recalls little to nothing of his human life but what he does remember comes in the forms of painful flash backs and head banging pains that drive him insane. Most of his flashbacks occur as if he is a third entity and he is trapped watching them play out too. Human memories are usually sealed away from reapers to prevent sympathy and regrets from clouding their judgment. Most of the time his kind are even oblivious to the fact they once where human.
Unsure of how or why he has such experiences and the vividness of them, Laon prefers to think of the person in them as a faceless and unknown individual. Because of his curious nature however, he can’t help but wonder where and why that individual seems to repeatedly invade his space and mind. He had devoted all his time and efforts into figuring out why he has such experiences and find the person with little success…

Recent history:

Laon was always considered the most disobedient of the reapers. Often breaking codes, sparing lives, and directly coming in contact with the living; being some of the most recent ones. He’s not a troublesome person per say, just he has his own morals and opinions and won’t listen to others very often.
Once on a job, He and his partner where alerted of a missing soul that might have been reincarnated. He didn’t even care if the lost soul ended up right in his arms all he wants is to be left alone until he can figure out the source of his own headaches. Instead of helping in the search he went off and accidently aided the spirit’s escape, leading him to his troubled fate at the academy.
He’s stuck in his own mess getting remedial lessons and training in order to learn his place apparently and find clues to the soul somewhere (Although he doesn’t even bother trying to find it.). He doesn’t quite like the sounds of his punishment but he could care less what everyone does to him. The only reason he really stays is he thinks he’s finally finding the answers to his own existence within the academy. If the headaches and flashbacks mean anything…


Misc. Information:

- He’s met Magus and is not in anyway close to him.
- He has no sexual preferences. (And is fine with either gender.)
- He had a pet bone lemur. (No it is not a dog. He lost the power to summon it when he was sent to OW.)
- His scythe is made up of a mix of candle wax and bone, the red flames are the candle’s wick.
-His form and powers are for the most part sealed, he has little to no access to them at all.
