Unimpressionism

Unimpressionism - This is a new style I'm trying to learn. Its my unimpressive first attempt at the digital impressionism style often used by Marta de Andrés `MartaNael (who is without question my favorite digital artist) in a tutorial she was kind enough to share here: [link] Anyway, she's awesome; I'm not - and I don't even deserve to share a paragraph with her.

I don't have the skill to do what she does, so I grabbed this very impressive photo of Poppy Isabella Wyrd photographed by the fantastic =CathleenTarawhiti

I then converted it to a one-colour black and transparent vector to act as a base. After that I added about a billion brush strokes, layers and some textures to get my final unimpressionist image.

I went ahead and posted it because I like the melancholy vibe it has (to me at least). I'm all about the melancholy vibe...
