Strawberry first tried painting the notice with her tail, so the first few words are kind of illegible, but the rest is in sparkly pink glitter ink.

Dear Everyone,

I'm hosting a tea party this weekend at the inn, and I would be so so so happy if people came! You can bring your own tea bags, or you can use any of mine (I just bought a lot of different kinds because there was a sale). You can bring your friends, too, and your children if you have them, but maybe not a lot of pets because I don't know if we're allowed to have animals in the inn, but if you do, I can give them tea too!

   Really excited to see everyone,
                          Strawberry J.

This event will take place Sunday the 17th, 8pm EST!
Come and enjoy some nice warm tea on these cold days, and see everyone as their different totems!

:bulletorange: Cirque de la Lune :bulletorange:

Deep beneath the surface of the islands three gods still writhe in a fury! They plague the fourth level of the mines, and their wrath has done little good to those living on Raccolto over the past few months.
Their storms still hang heavy over the islands, autumn's sheets of rain have gradually shifting to freezing sleet. There is no soft snow blanketing the earth, no joyous snowball fights or smiling snowmen. Instead the ground freezes through the night, leaving the ground a dangerous ice rink as wind, sleet, and thunderstorms continue to plague the islands.

There is, however, one small pocket of joy to be found in these hard times.
Moved by all the help they received in last year's January blizzard, a certain group of carnies have returned to the islands to spread as much joy as they possibly can in their short stay.

Cirque de la Lune
is back on Raccolto!

Slip and slide your way over to Raccolto island and you'll see many large, and very colorful, tents have been pitched in the open fields outside of town! Learning from their last visit, the circus carnies came prepared with a few more outdoor tents!
If you pull back the flap you may just be greeted with stalls upon stalls of carnie games and side show attractions that all lead up to the big tent.

:bulletorange: Feeling Different :bulletorange:

Long-time residents always know the circus is in town when they rise from their cozy pillows and scream at their face in the mirror! But it is surely a new experience for those fresh neighbors who just moved in in the last year!

With the arrival of Cirque de la Lune comes an island wide change.
Everyone's totems have been altered! Yes, a may have been a Meowth all your life, but today you might just have become a snotty Cubchoo!

For this event
You are given three options from this list:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…

Select one of the three options for your character's totem to be during the duration of the circus.
Members are allowed one reroll, but no more than that!

:bulletorange: Carnival Covetries :bulletorange:

The circus is in town and it's time to have fun!
That means practice your throwing arm, pray to lady luck, and get ready for some good ol' fashioned carnie games!
Bottle rings, shooting galleries, and other games of chance and skill have been set up for residents to enjoy.

Feel free to visit the the circus' bearded lady, fortune teller, big tent, and more while you visit!
And don't forget that this is your last chance to get those carnival foods layered in grease and sure to stop your heart!

For this event
Draw or write about your character enjoying the circus! With each work submitted, you will receive a ticket to put towards a prize!
Works should be flat colored with a semi-detailed background, and written pieces should be 500 words to count for a ticket.

Ticket Prizes

Shiny Crystal Shard - 15 Tickets
Megastone - 15 Tickets
Event Orb - 10 Tickets
Giant Onyx Plushie - 5 Tickets
Treeko Plushie - 3 Tickets
Torchic Plushie - 3 Tickets
Mudkip Plushie - 3 Tickets

*You can see how many tickets you have on the Totem Swap link from above!

:bulletorange: Pokemon Masks :bulletorange:

As people age and grow through their experiences, some realize that they may not be in the right totem.
However, there may just be a way out of this.
Journey through this carnival setting and capture some alone time with one of the main carnies. They may just see in you something special, something pleading. If they do, then it has been said they will bestow a special mask onto this chosen resident, permanently changing their totem.

For this event
Draw or write two separate pieces. One piece should depict your character interacting with one of the main carnies (These can be found in the NPCs folder of the gallery with a special circus background). The second piece should be your character interacting with their mask.
Once the art is done, submit a note to the group with your totem change request, linking your two art pieces.
You may change into any Pokemon, excluding legendaries and shinies. But remember, this change is permanent and can't be undone until next year's circus!

All submissions for this event are due January 23rd.

:bulletorange: Call to Arms - Mine 4 :bulletorange:

Residents have explored the dusty mines and ancient caverns of Amusement Archipelago’s cave system for years. Only recently, in the past decade, have citizens gone low enough to awaken disturbed individuals.

Gods! Legendaries!
There are still a few who live on these islands who know the tales and who have battled these ancient beings in hopes of calming them. No one knows who has trapped these old deities far from the sunlight, nor who has corrupted them so that they emerge crazed. But once they were peaceful gods who aided the islands.

But recently residents have discovered ways down deeper into the caves. Spelunking further and further from the rays of the sun and the open air towards a darkness. Maybe these individuals stomp around too loudly with their boots? Perhaps they are just too loud when they slip on the icy floors of the lowest known cave? Or maybe they have just dived too deeply, but a new presence has awakened.

The skies of Raccolto have grown darker recently.
Great heavy clouds that are cousins to the dark of night. Winds have picked up their pace in the last few days, but recently it has become a furious gale that never ceases! Lighting flashes, and thunder booms many times a day, and the ground is soaked with curtains of rain.
And the source of it all?
Only those who have explored deep enough into the caverns know.

Three gods have risen, and with them comes their awful power!
It is they, cursed and aggressive, who have brought such weather to the islands. The Harvest Goddess, fearing the awaken of these three gods has appeared at her stream, a worried furrow to her brow. She will share the news with any who pass and ask of them to travel down into the distant levels of the mines stop their evil and give them relief.

The question is, will you help her?
And will you help the islands?

For this event
Your resident will have to travel deep down to the fourth level of the mines to defeat the three gods; Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno, be it with violence or other means.
Each of the three gods has an art style that will defeat them!
Zapados can be defeated with visual art; minimum - flat colors, simple background.
Moltres can be defeated with written works; minimum - 500 words.
Articuno can be defeated with collaborations; minimum - flat colors, simple backgrounds, OR 1000 words, OR roleplay logs.
Only members who have passed through cave 1, 2, and 3 may contribute to this event. That means if you have never drawn cave art, or if you have only drawn up to cave 2 or 3, you will have to draw this art to reach down to the cave 4. Please follow art standards for your cave art, they can be found in the Mines journal.
