Duality: The Ascention of a coward - Splash art 1

Sadly, even though I was aiming for a comic, I couldn't find the time to finish it so here are some splash arts and the story. Damn I'm so mad with myself. /headdesks. The story is following up on the three illustrations.



The night was almost falling when Kobe reached the forest. The forest that was boarding his former home... He left it so long ago, it felt kind of strange to go back to these somewhat familiar woods. It was it, the day where the entrance exam for the ranger guild took place.

Hiding behing a large tree, he kept staring at all these people he didn't know. All these boys and girls wanting to become, just like him, a valuable ranger. He joined the ranks and stood silent, waiting for the guild master to start his speech.

Just like everyone else, he wa ssurprised to see how young their chief was. But despite that, Ibb made a big impression on him. From that kid, who indeed was small, emanated great power and a strenght that even Kobe could feel. After the young guild master announced the rules, everyone dashed in the woods as fast as they could, willing to find the best spot to spend the night. Everyone except Kobe. He wasn't hesistating, no, and that's exactly what he answered Ibb, after the boy asked.

"Now that I know where everybody's gone, I can easily find the best camp place for the night."
