Jack says:
At first sight, the desk at the front of the classroom appeared to be empty, even as the students began filling in one by one. And even after the bell that signaled the start of class went off, there was not an instructor in sight, the students mumbling amongst themselves in suspicion. But not too long after was when a loud shout echoed throughout the classroom, each student snapping their gaze to the front of the room where a demon masked boy sprang from beneath the desk, his feet smacking hard against the top of it. What the boy could have been possibly doing under the desk for so long was a mystery to the small group of students, only sitting frozen in their seats as they waited for what else the boy would do. After a moment of standing with his hands on either side of him, he slid off the mask that was concealing his face, revealing a pair of bright red eyes and a wide smile plastered on his face.
"Welcome to your first class, dear beginners! This is Spiritual Communication, and I will be your student instructor, Jack Springheel!~"
His eyes scanned over the students for a moment, his smile fading slightly into a look of disappointment. "... This is all the students?? I thought there'd be more!" He frowned, leaning towards the door in hope for any last stragglers. Though when no more students appeared, he sighed before returning to his previous smile. "... Oh, well! I'll love and nourish each of you seven students until you blossom into beautiful necromancers!" He shouted with joy, holding his hands in the air enthusiastically. "Now let's begin!"
"Before you begin to understand spirits and communicating with them, you must first learn to communicate with yourselves... does that make any sense at all?" He laughed a bit nervously, hopping down from the top of the desk and walking around the classroom.
"I'm sure you all have something more that you want to know about yourselves... or maybe there's an unresolved conflict that you're disputing in your mind. Well this is what we'll be learning about today!" He smiled happily, running over and grabbing a large stack of books from behind his desk. He quickly paced towards each desk, purposely dropping each book in front of the students with a loud 'thud.' On the cover was a nicely designed drawing of a pair of eyes, intricate designs lining the cover, and above it were the words Clairvoyant Readings. "These are nice books, aren't they? I made sure to get one with pictures!--I know how boring reading can be without them~" He chuckled.
"Clairvoyance is the ability the ability to gain information about a person through means other than the human senses. So for your first assignment, I'll be pairing you in groups of two, and you will use clairvoyant readings to search each other's souls!" He paused for a moment, looking over the students before a puzzled look crossed his face. He strode up to the students, patting a hand on each of their heads as if he were playing a game of Duck Duck Goose before turning back to them. "Ah! It looks like we have an odd number of students in here, so I guess I'll have to place one of you in a group of three!"
