Two Rarities

First wallpaper of 2013! This one was originally set up on December 30, 2012, but I felt I wasn't able to continue work on it due to a lack of inspiration. I finished this one up today (January 2, 2013) and contains some fog/clouds and a few lens flare layers as well. Color overlays go in as usual and the fog/clouds are carried over from my People Like Us pony album cover, as well as the liquid ink texture from my Wash, Rinse, Repeat pony album cover. I tried out HSV noise on this one and I think it turned out great! Easily, this is one of my personal favorites.

Original concept
Rarity and Sweetie Belle, costumed as filly Rarity, standing in front of a beigish-white wall, similar to American singer Christina Aguilera's photoshoot for Lotus.

Finalized concept
Rarity and a disguised Sweetie Belle surrounded by fog/clouds in a dark navy blue setting. Not-nearly-faraway sparks, possibly interpreted as stars, are seen behind them. Lens flares are used to accentuate the rarest and most beautiful duo's positions.
