Description

Behold, my very first "SteamPunk" image! It only took 8 hours to complete :D

As you can see, Pinkies Party cannon is not only 120% badass, but also walks! and when the steam is low, she can just use her boom stick. So watch out! here comes Pinkie!

I always knew Pinkie was an evil badass <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";P" title="Wink/Razz"/>

Well, lets see here - the general concept is very imaginative; it has that steampunk feel and yet plays homeage to Pinkie herself, in more ways then one, I might add. I've seen a few steampunk ponies by now, but this one seems to have the most thought put into it.

To which end it's also quite original; a splendid mix of dark sci-fi and whack vibe that Pinkie always give out. As ironic as it may be, these two elements actually go well together.

The technique seems to be a mix as well - between simple, rushed drawing (the background and smoke effect) and a more detailed center piece... but, since it's Pinkie, insanity and lack of conhersiveness is kinda implied, which makes the whole thing even more unique then it already is.

The pic itself just blows you away... with a Party Cannon, of course; you instantly get smacked by the contrast of generally dark colors surrounding the wacky, pink pony. And it draws you in without you even noticing. A disturbing, very disturbing art that you feel like you wanna look away, but can't... much like Pinkie herself.

Overall it's a job well done... granted, I do not know if all I mentioned above was intentional, but it certainly turned out as a stunning entirety, forming a unique and worth-while outcome.
