About Us Studs Broods Racers Youngstock Jumpers Staff Sales/Leases
Triple Birch Farms is a Thoroughbred farm about thirty minutes south of Saratoga Springs, NY. Here at Triple Birch Farms we aspire to breed Thoroughbreds of the highest quality with the aim to race in the nation's most prestigious events. Primarily we are a breed to race operation, and as such feature an extensive stallion roster and ever growing broodmare herd. As we are a New York based operation our string's base is NYRA tracks. During the winter months our racing string will often be split up among Aqueduct, Oaklawn, Fair Grounds, and Gulfstream, but come the spring and summer we are almost solely based at Belmont and Saratoga. If you have any questions concerning Triple Birch's base stud farm or our racing string, please feel free to send us a note. Information on our Studs, Broodmares, Racers and Youngstock are available on their respective pages, simply follow the links above.
Thank you for visiting!!

Onto Season 5!!!
Roll Over!!
Whew! So glad to say that this season is over more of less, it was beginning to feel like an albatross to be honest.
First up, Gunslinger is joining Triple Birch's stud roster after his close second place finish in the Breeders' Cup Classic (GI) at age four. Although he was out with injury during the latter half of his 3yo season and never managed to nab a Triple Crown win we here at Triple Birch are confident that the rest of his race record will speak for itself. Due to his difficult temperament we recommend breeding sound minded mares to him who are of a good size.
None of our racemares are retiring this season, although Zahra will be afforded a few months off back at home after a mentally and physically grueling 3yo season. Eminence after showing her brilliance in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint will be back in training as a five year old.
We are perhaps most excited about our 3yo racing prospects. Golden Age's thrilling fall campaign has us planning for the first Saturday in May. Perhaps most exciting is Marzanna, after her undefeated two year old season we have high hopes for our Lucifer daughter. Both Cryptology and Paranormal will be on the Derby trail as well, but with slightly lower expectations. After Paranormal's mental breakdown at the Breeders' Cup we aim to ease him back into the swing of things and we aim to go slow with Cryptology as well, but both colts certain show enough speed and talent to have a place among the field on Derby Day. On the side of slow developers we aim to get Quick Wit racing in some small stakes providing we can keep him sane. Double Up is well on the mend and we aim to get her back racing as soon as possible. Ashkii will be trying his luck against classier company as well.
We are both eager and slightly frazzled at the thought of our six incoming 2yos. All are performing well enough to home, though expect that Aponivi, Cassiphone, and the recently purchased Tizme to be joining the race string earlier than the others. Double Down is physically looking good but lacking quite a bit in the maturity department and Cordae, although mentally engaged, needs more time at home to fill out her big frame. Rebel is simply Rebel, and seems to need time to figure everything out.
Broods available this season are Circe, Double or Nothing, Dol Niwlog, and Caribbean Cool. Circe, Double or Nothing, and Caribbean Cool are all open for 2 breeding slots. Dol Niwlog is only available for one.
Edit: Looking at the massive foal crop that is my yearling crew (never, ever, ever again will I breed all my mares. Lesson learned) I've decided that for sanity's sake I'm going to hold off on my Mr. Tseng breedings, but one day I will let him sire me some uber talented and handsome babies

Still Alive a Year Later
Hi y'all, still living, still extremely busy, but I think about my HARPG ponies and the HARPG community frequently even if I suck and nearly never find the time to post. No promises on story updates, but I'm putting out a journal entry so all my links are right on my home page for you and for me so I can track my extremely large and totally not overwhelming HARPG stable XD
Wow
Hi y'all, its been a time, a long time. Life has continued its crazy way as its prone to do when you're in your mid-twenties. Little life update for everyone: currently I am the proud owner of an incredibly sassy soon to be 8 off the track Thoroughbred mare which has taken up the vast majority of my free time which I used to spend with my HARPG ponies. Currently she's laid up with a soft tissue stifle injury, but is on the mend so I've got a bit more free time - enough to think about how much I miss drawing and writing about my HARPG thoroughbreds. I've got a lot of the rest of this season written in bits and pieces, so its going to become a
NOT DEAD
I really can no longer guarantee when I'm going to be able to get back to writing HARPG with any sort of regularity. I have not forgotten about my little HARPG world or any of you lovely people I've come to befriend and admire on this website through this community, but life is happening as it does. A lot has happened over this summer into the fall; a new business venture with my mom, a new serious relationship, new opportunities with the horse I've been leasing and its not an exaggeration to say I haven't written in four months. I'm not leaving HARPG, none of my horses are for sale, and I still have wild dreams of continuing my little story
LOL @LIFE
Remember how I just posted life was busy etc etc etc? GUESS WHOSE HOUSE GOT HIT BY LIGHTNING AND CAUGHT FIRE?
Yeah, it me. Everyone was okay and our 4 dogs are okay as the fire was mostly contained, but water damage etc is extensive and we're going to be out of the house for about six months while they gut it and put up new drywall, new floors, etc. SO. Silver lining we are moving into the beautiful house on the farm where the horse I leased lives so it can't be all bad right???
