I don't like to be all seriousface over selling adopts. But everyone's gotta have a few guidelines. It been awhile since I posted these so here's a quick updated list.


General Rules/Information
Always give credit where credit is due. If you redraw your adopt just say 'original design by feralx1'. Its that easy.
Ask before sending points. Points must be sent within 24 hours after confirmation. Send to donation pool.
Adopts are first to request, but if points aren't sent within 24 hours, the next person has the opportunity to purchase. Except for Reserved adopts which are on hold for a specific user(s), then they get first choice no matter what.
Once you buy an adopt, you can tweak the design, give it a new name, change the species, etc.
You ARE allowed to turn adopts into breedables, however you MUST put some further effort into the offspring afterwards. This means you can draw/design the pups, etc. But not just say, 'pay me points and I'll let you create pups'.
Do NOT resell the adopt for more than you paid for it. The only exception to this is if it comes with art or other things you have worked on. You may also trade for like-priced adopts, or give them away to others.
If you no longer want an adopt, you can give it back to me and I'll keep it for myself, or give it away to another deviant. But I do not refund points.
Whenever you use an adopt/design for something, give me a link! I love seeing them.
All linearts I use all for adopts or point selling, all fandom sources, etc I claim no credit for. I only claim credit for the work done, and the designs I make. After that whatever you do with them is all you.


Adopting Point Adopts
You have 24 hours (1 day) to send payment for an adopt, starting after I confirm you may purchase it. If you do not send payment within this time, I'll sell the adopt to someone else.
There is no limit to how many adoptables you can purchase, other than the amount of points you have. xD
Higher point adopts may be held, the description will state if holds are available.

Adopting Free Adopts
Once you claim a freebie and I confirm, its yours!
Do NOT resell the adopt. Since you got it for free, its not fair to just go make an easy profit off someone else's work. Freebies can also only traded for other freebies.
Every Deviant is allowed one free adopt per day (24 hours). This is to make sure multiple users get the chance for freebies.

Drawing to Adopt
If an adopt/sheet is made using F2U lines, I'm willing to trade for art of my characters! My OCs can be seen here: feralx1.deviantart.com/gallery… + feralx1.deviantart.com/favouri… Note: you must ALWAYS ASK FIRST. I like a variety of art, so I may refuse you if you've drawn for me multiple times already.
If after a week you do not comment with a link to the trade, or at least saying you are working on the art, I will consider you as having changed your mind and let someone else have a chance.

Trade to Adopt
On occasion I may allow adopt for adopt trades. However I WILL NOT accept maker adopts. You must have colored the lines yourself. The description will state if that particular adopt is available for trades.
Any 'custom' exchanges will just be me asking for character art, so see list above.
