HYC Mascot Entry - Derek and Sasha

Finally, I've been able to complete the drawing for contest

Then, here's the characters' description:

Derek Orwell
Age: 28
Nationality: British
Hair color: auburn
Eye color: brown
Distinguishing marks: none
Profession: detective in an investigative agency
Personality: raver and funny, he loves stay with friends. He's sure of himself, but sometimes too stubborn. He relly enjoy his job, even if not always he follows the law for achieve his tasks, that's because his quite impertinet, and knowing to be one of the most skilfull detectives in London, he belives to be able to do everything he want.

Aleksandr Belikov (Sasha)
Age: 22
Nationality: Russian
Hair color: blonde
Eye color: icy blue
Distinguishing marks: he has two beauty spots uder the left eye; one bigger on the left and another smaller on the right
Profession: he works under the mafia service
Personality: because of the knowledge of many bad people, he generally prefers staying alone, but when he find someone with whom he likes to stay, he opens to the contact. He's shy but brave and doesn't hesitate to sacrifice for the persons he loves. He's good at fighting and intelligent.

How they met (references to The Pusher manga)
Derek's head receives from drug police commissary the request to give him the task to track down and arrest the mob boss Gaetano Passalacqua, selling drugs in the London area and hinterland. That's because the case is going on several years and no one has been able to find enough proofs to convict the boss yet, but when Derek, during his relationship with the policewoman of the drug police Helena Sullivan involved in the case, help her with investigations, the case makes great progresses. So, even if Derek acted without any permission from his head or the drug police one, they decided to involve him.
To achieve his target Derek just has a first plan: to contact Aleksandr Belikov, that the police thinks is working under the service of the mafia-man. In fact reading his criminal records, Aleksander looks an unsuspectable one, but Derek is convinced that he knows something that might help in the case.
So Derek enact a police operation while Aleksandr's going out a bank, and he pretends to be his savior introducing himself as Dylan Carter, and telling to be one of the collabrator of the mafia boss, he takes him in a bar where he try to get him drunk for obtain informations about the boss. However at the end of the evening Aleksandr is completely hungover, so Derek decides to brings him to his home.
The next morning Derek gets up first and without waiting for Alexander leaves home leaving a note that informs the guy about his availability to see him again that evening.
In that way the detective will be able to find out more and walk up towards the goal; Sasha will accept, but over time their relationship will become more and more complicated, after all, how can live together a detective and an outlaw?

Drawn by hand (except feets, I made them by pc because that paper sheet were too small! ...ok, I drew characters too high in the sheet ù3ù So, feets are completely made with Photoshop), colored with copic - leather jacket with fude-pen -, and adjusted somewhere with Photoshop CS3.
