Hatter is, to put it quite simply, mad. He is completely unpredictable and no doubt considered bipolar if not insane. Hatter is considered to be dangerous but not enough for him to be locked away. It is suggested that you keep your distance from him unless you are experienced with a wild mind like his. However, he loves tea and enjoys a good tea party. He likes his tea with two lumps of sugar, and the staff are sure to give it to him that way. Hatter also loves riddles and games. Most of the time his riddles dont make sense, seeing as half of them arent meant to have an answer. He is rather difficult to talk to. He has a short attention span and likes to interupt in the middle of things. His emotions and actions are both unpreditable and often times downright strange. He has no real understanding of the world, and, for the most part, lives in a.. well, wonderland. Hatter is always mumbling to himself, if not humming or singing words that make no sense whatsoever. Then again, nothing he does is normal or makes sense. Despite the fact that his mind is lost, Hatter can be quite the clever gentleman at times. It is difficult to explain Hatter, as he is a rather erratic character that can never seem to stay in one place. However, the conclusion can be made that he really is a mad Hatter.

The staff are working cautiously around Hatter, trying to figure out the best ways to train him. The timing has to be right, and being as unpredictable as he is, it is hard to tell what his next move will be. Hatter prefers to be alone or in a small group. He does better with horses that have a stable personality and can keep the air light. Hatter's training is still very basic, and it's hard to say what disciplines he will work well with, let alone compete in.

breeding rules
Due to Hatter's nature, it is not advised that he is bred. It is unknown as to how he will act about it, and the staff don't want to risk injuring any horses. The staff has found, however, that he can become very well behaved and "tame" around mares - so long as they get along with his twisted mind. They think it may be an advantage towards the breeding aspect. Breedings are currently closed and will most likely not be opened for awhile. Hatter is not available for lease, and never will be.
