Apache

This is for who is holding a contest currently to recreate one of his pieces. I, uh.... am not sure quite how I feel about this. I've been feeling really insecure about my art lately, especially after such a long period of not making anything at all (thanks depression!), so I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, yay! I drew something! On the other hand, crap I need a lot of work still. Not up to par at all.

ANYWAY, for the amount of time I spent on this (maybe around 5 or 6 hours total, including all my little tweaks, but not including the scanning and photoshop tweaking time... ughh technology...) I think it came out alright.

This character was originally 's character, then did his version, and now I'm submitting this! Yay making a copy of a copy!

EDIT: I was going to add a gradient background or SOMETHING to make it look less... plain... but I have no idea how to make heads or tails of Adobe, and my roommate doesn't have the time to teach me right now. Hopefully once both our schedules calm down we'll be able to sit down and look through it together. Until then!
