Hey it's 2018! This is my yearly update!
This year I'm definitely back and I'm definitely still sculpting. I'm now living in Hong Kong (and will be for the next 2 years). I have been kind of moving around for the past 2 years but now that I am more "settled" I have decided to go back to sculpting. I feel more relaxed and thus am more able to sculpt. I have already started uploading some stuff, hope you guys don't mind it!
My style has changed due to the fact I'm no longer living in Australia, and I don't have the space for all my old stuff. In the past I was using polymer clay (which needs baking) but these days I've been using more air dry

I'm still alive! I still occasionally check DA!
I just wanted to pop in and say that I'm still alive, and I still enjoy sculpting. In the past few years I've graduated from university, got a job and traveled to many countries. I just haven't had as much time, space or resources to sculpt.
Recently I was given the opportunity to sculpt something big, a beckoning cat (aka. lucky cat, maneki-neko) for a friend's bar, and I was glad to realise that I still enjoy sculpting. I actually have done some assorted sculptures over the year, and so I hope to find some time to upload them whenever I can. I will continue

Hey everyone! Currently sick so I've had more time than usual to dedicate to non-work related things.
I started an instagram that's dedicated to entomology and my work as a research assistant, it's called antomology. It's a portmanteau of "ant" and "entomology", haha. Please follow if you are interested in learning about insects, especially ants. I'll try to be as informative as possible with each of my posts. :) Also, post if you have your own instagram, would love to follow you!

Where have I been?
Oh no it has been over a year since I last posted.
Anyway I am now living in Hong Kong, working as a research assistant in a lab doing what I really enjoy! I was very lucky to be able to find a relevant job to my degree after graduating, especially since it's not in my home country.
As you can figure out I don't have time to do much artwork. There's not much space in Hong Kong and materials are limited.. I'm not sure if I'll be sculpting again, I will definitely try to do it, but even if I do it would be in a different direction, a lot has changed since I started sculpting Pokemon. :)
