Random Feature Week One

Every monday, I will be featuring random deviants!

How will I be picking the deviants I feature?
1. If you go over to the Deviant Art panel at the top left corner of the screen and scroll down you will see the random deviant option. That takes you to the page of a random deviant.
2. I will stroll around deviant art and feature someone who I think is working hard on their art or writing but who is not quite sticking out.
3. I will be taking recommendations from you.

What is the point of this?
1. Because I like being nice, that's the point.

I remember when we first met. I was just a bum off of the streets, dressed in raggedy clothes and a beaten hat. All I had to my name were those clothes and a harmonica, but even that instrument had been used quite a bit in my street performances. I think I told you about those.
You were looking gorgeous in that blue dress, just a little lighter than the shade of your hair. Those beautiful golden eyes that washed over me in scrutiny with maybe a little smile of appreciation that followed. All I remember thinking is, wow, this gal is an itty bitty kitten in a cage full of pit bulls. You were so out of place. I could tell you were made of money and a true lady, but I didn't care about that. I cared about getting to know you, and not just because you had written so many books that I just adored. Books that I had to read at the library because I couldn't afford to have any of my own, but that was okay.
I asked what a woman like you was doing in a place like this, one of those old l Artists and BirdsAn artist is like a bird.
We take flight when inspiration is in our path.
We are grounded when there is none.
Without inspiration, our wings are broken.
Artists and birds, there is much in common.
The wings of the bird is like the artists will to create.
The feathers are like the beauty of the artist's creation,
that stand in the mind waiting to take flight.
The bird's heart is like the artist's love for their work.
The warmth of the bird's body, is like the effect that the artist's  creation has on its onlookers.
The talons are like the grappling critics that tear the artist down.
The bird's will to spread its wings, is like the artist's will to rise up again. My DayPatience
