So yea, wow. big number heh!
Seriously thank you for this. I hope I can deliver and make all your watches worth it.
You all made this journey easier, in my tough moments there was always this knowledge of a light at the end.
I'm maybe blowing this a bit out of proportion, bit still, it made me look back at things.
I made something to go with this: The final stand of elements
This piece is a bit of a continuation for one of my older works The Mane War
It's fun to see the difference in style though
There's also a little something I written about this. Reaching 500 watchers has made me think about it. Anyhow, here it is if you'd like to read it
"My art has not always gone without trouble, without problems. Sometimes it has been a struggle.
Back in 2012 when I graduated for Game Art I had barely done anything, of art, at home for a long time.
Then I discovered this community, which reinvigorated me. I made things at home which I both enjoyed but could also share with others again.
There were moments where I doubted myself, if art really is what I'm supposed to do, but then y'all hit me in the head and wake me up, get me fighting again.
It was a new world to discover and one that was easy to access and share things with others having the same interests.
I had a fresh view on something and I could make things for it. Explore the style, fail, succeed, you all also enjoyed my work.
Those were welcoming times and they still are.
I started making more stuff, improving in terms of pony art, but also in general art. I began making work in progress images, sharing the process with everyone.
The response to that was great, it felt like exploring a world together, I even started recording my work and doing time lapse videos!
A more accessible world to the general community. Everypony can make some form of art.
Last year I seemed to be the one to inspire others, that moment... when I don't only take in inspiration but also radiate it out?!
It happened almost simultaneous in my work environment and in this community.
Things like that is what makes this struggle worth it. Even if it's just that.
The Brony community has certainly proven itself over and over again. Given me so much, I hope you all accept my art as something I want to give back."

Painting armour from imagination simplified
I've been meaning to highlight my mindset or mental approach towards painting (polished) armour in a simplified way from imagination for a while, and with some visual examples. This recent piece was a good one to go with. Basically I try to imagine a horizon view onto my armour, adding colours based on which angles face what. (up sky, down ground) I just like the autumn orange grass for easy aesthetic contrast with blue sky. I've used this a few times before, so there's some more examples below to when I applied this logic too. I might apply a similar logic to eyes too, tho much simpler as I tend to do just the sky with a tree line cut out for them (if even). Unless it's indoor, then I'd probably just do some windows. Or just a very sharp highlight... This is typically just my easy go to baseline aesthetic. I can always go more complex accurate (or I can just go rough unpolished metal without any of this...) Side-note: This logic is based mostly on 'Surface Reflection'.
In travel mode
I hadn't taken enough time to write this out earlier, but a little status update on these next weeks/months. So a quick word here. Currently I'm in the US for con season, traveling to WCPC, BABS and EFNW, vending at all, flying back end of May. This doesn't mean I won't do any art in the meantime, I'll be able to squeeze some art (and streams) in between these events. But it'll probably be different than usual, simply for the fact I'm not at my home setup.
Saturday Stream + Weekly Roundup
Quicknotes: Whinny City PonyCon BABSCon Everfree Northwest That general reminder I'll be at these conventions and as a vendor! I'll have new posters, but also a new S&D Book, amongst other things. Does also mean that I'll soon be in travel mode again and for couple months. Doesn't mean I won't be able to do art (or stream), but I'll just have to figure out how that'll look like, on the go. Sorry I've been a bit absent the last day and last stream. With convention time coming up, I kinda wrecked my schedule hard, and well... some other reasons hah. Whatever the reason, I messed things up. I still wanna keep art going to some extend, until I fly out. This next week will be full on putting all the last files, merch, panel, etc. together as well, tho. Saturday Livestream On my Picarto Last Saturday's art: Nautila? Yes, always place for Nautila now-a-days. It also seems she's taken up in your hearts a bit too. At least for some of y'all Week's Recap So because I had a new
