improvement meme 1999-2022

update 2022: look at me updating this thing for 10 years now xD I thought about cutting away the years 1999-2008 but they are also part of my journey, so this file stays big for now :> I found so much growth through my comic project from 2020 and the portrait course from Angel Ganev in 2021. I didn't finish the course completely, just the first three chapters, but they helped me immensely! 
I'm still working in IT and don't have all the time in the world to draw. But I'm trying to be more patient with most of my pieces, putting in some more hours than I did in the past. Overall I'm quite happy with 2022. I still feel like I'm learning new things and my lines improved so much <3 I'm happy that I'm still on my journey, after all this time

update 2018: middle of 2019 is as good as any other time to update for 2018. This thing covers 20 years now, this drives me crazy honestly! It's still pretty fun to look for 4 pictures every year. And I see myself repeating always 'next year will be better' yeah whatever, as long as I keep painting I will be okay!
update 2017: not my most productive year but there were reasons, I'm hoping for the best for 2018

update 2016: Did some environment again - definitely a fun thing to do which I should really try more often, worked on my characters some more, had many speed painting sessions this year  

update 2015: Tried to do more studies this year but got distracted with other stuff (like university) way too often... Hope it will all change this year, as I'm about to graduate, yai! 

update 2013: found some old pictures and put them onto this thing and new stuff from 2013 

I guess I've finally been long enough on DA to do this meme xD
I wanted to do it for some time now, but my art-collection was always to small for that. But not anymore! hah.
I don't know if it is actual improvement, certainly not the last 3 years, but for me it is interesting to have an overview for those years.
2009 was like my best year. I drew a lot and was totally motivated and then came my art break down.
Sometimes I tried to improve but I was exhausted quickly.
2012 was a really busy year for me, had a lot to do for work and school and started to study Software-System-Development in October.
I'm really curios how this will continue xD
