So, studio practice with Tracy on Friday was successful! We took some cool shots and had tons of fun getting outside both of our comfort zones! It's funny how that works, isn't it? You get so nervous about trying something new and then you have fun, and you wonder why it was ever an issue in the first place. I would definitely not say that artificial lighting is now my favorite thing, far from it!! But it was fun to try something new and experiment some. And now I know some things I need to watch our for next time around as well! Saturday's shoot with the male model had to be canceled though due to the mysterious sickness going around. If you're in Florida right now, you probably know what I'm talking about, EVERYBODY is sick right now but it just keeps getting labelled as upper respiratory infection and not flu. I am praying I don't get hit with it!!! I did get to photograph baby Carson though, such a cutie even if he was highly uncooperative! Anyways, you can preview photos from both of these shoots on my Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ashleyhollowayphoto Right now, I'm still plugging away at editing them all! Friday, I'll be shooting with Roarie Yum on a conceptual shoot I've had rolling around in my mind for awhile. She's rocking the short hair now, and it will be a fun change I think!
And now for 13 deviations under 35 favorites!

FoggyThe waves were the worst in November. The fog settled on the lakes like a sheet of ice. My grandfather wandered into that fog 20 years ago. We all thought him dead until last year when he washed ashore thinking it was still that day in 1993. We didn't know how to tell him otherwise.

15 Under 50 Feature 19
Well, well, well. Here we are 4 months after the last edition of 15 under 50, oops. BUT, here's some extra pretty art to make up for that ;)
15 Under 50 Feature 18 + Update
I'm back with another edition of 15 under 50! Its been a weird last couple of months personally, filled with both wonderful and uh not so wonderful things. I've been trying my best to get in a better place mentally this year, and some days I feel as though I'm truly making it. I feel like me, productive and filled with joy for the small things but others just oof. I'm really struggling with brain fog, I'm not sure if its a result of having covid in January or simply the amount of anxiety and grief I've dealt with this year. I tend towards the latter because it does seem to lift when I'm doing better. My coping skills have (unfortunately for my bank account) turned back towards collecting and I have a really nice vinyl collection now as well as too many books to fit on my bookshelves, oops! Towards the end of October, there was an incident where I had to call the cops because two young men were at the end of my driveway yelling hateful things and then *coincidentally* like 30 minutes
September-November 2023 DD Roundup
Trying to get back onto a DD feature roll, it's not happening yet, but I've already scheduled 4 DDs for December, so that's something. Hope you enjoy the art I've featured over the last few months! Also, one that the artist set to watchers only after I featured it: https://www.deviantart.com/osphilia/art/Zoe-by-Julien-Sunye-on-www-OSPHILIA-CO-968473642
Spooky or Sweet?
I wanted to share some lovely Autumnal pieces I've come across recently - some spooky and some sweet (and a few that I would argue are both)! Autumn is my favorite season, and we've finally gotten a couple of cooler mornings recently that have really put me in the mood - for Fall that is. I hope you enjoy  I have a couple more fun things to share soon!
