Equipment Synthesis
I know you've all been waiting for this information, so let's take a gander! ;)
What is Synthesis?
Synthesis is the act of taking raw materials from nature (though you also can buy them in the Item Shop) and have it attached to either your weapon or your armor. This process of attaching is called "synthesis," and requires a synthesis artist or blacksmith to enact! Luckily, almost all towns have one or the other, so don't stress over it too much.
Synthesis can modify any of the stats an item has, depending on what material is doing the synthesizing. For example, Chitin Shards, if added to armor, will increase the P.DEF stat by two points.

Most items (excluding Level 2+ upgrades on weapons and armor) can be found in the Item Shop art folder.
