Ciel works for an agency of 'tomb raiders' in the vast desert in Western Erethar known as the Grey Wastes.

Mr Westerson works closely with Alain Miden, the pair making a terrible twosome that constantly cause havoc out in the outposts and cities across the Wastes, as they take on only the most profitable and dangerous contracts to travel out to the ancient Ahnyssian ruins buried beneath the sands.
