You'd just joined team Taka. Sasuke was so serious, far too serious for you. You could barely be around him. You usually stuck by Jugo and Suigetsu. They were so much more like you, but they'd been taken. Your last mission, all but you and Sasuke were taken hostage. You and Sasuke would have to work together for the good of the team this time.
"Alright. I hope you're ready. I'm not going to give you any slack; you'd better know that." Sasuke jumped to the first tree, heading swiftly to the imprisonment cell.
"H-how far is it exactly?" You were anything but an athlete. You didn't even know how you were asked to join. It must've been some sort of streak of luck to survive.
"Stop complaining and well be there sooner than you think. I don't want to hear another peep from you."
"But..l.."
"What the HELL did I just say? Shut the hell up. If they hear us, were dead." His veins became more apparent with frustration, he began to perspire. You apologized silently in your own mind. Just as he said, you were there in no time. Oddly clothed men encircled a cavern, watching over it for their life. You felt flames cover you. Your friends were in there! They took your friends!
Sasuke smiled. "Calm down..." Sasuke noticed your tension. "They'll be okay. Well get them, it'll be like nothing ever happened..." He slowly slid himself down the rocks, silent and unnoticeable. You followed his movements, surprisingly well. "Good job." He whispered, giving an approving smile. You felt your heart flutter. You'd been approved by the most important person in your life.
"HELLOO!?" You heard a voice call from the cavern. "Is my Sasuke there yet!?" Suigetsu called out. Sasuke didn't answer. "Dammit. I guess not." Suigetsu gave a heavy sigh.
"On the count of three, we'll jump on and attack, okay?" Sasuke took your hand. "Trust me , we'll win this." "Three." Came faster than anything ever had. You were launched into your first battle with a man you'd always wished to be your own.
"Let's make it out alive." You were ready.
