Markings: The scar sorta across her forehead came from a fight when she was in a mercenary band


Personality: Very elusive, she likes to make people confused for the fun of it. Sometimes greets people with riddles and won’t talk about anything else until the riddle’s solved. She watches more than taking action and avoids fighting whenever possible. Loves to be with people who know how to laugh, even if she doesn’t laugh along. She enjoys giving tongue-lashings to anyone who’s not respectful, sometimes causing the situations herself as a ‘test’


Talents: She’s good with people, knowing how the mind works and what makes people tick. Her fighting abilities are a little rusty, she focuses more on calming the mind etc. She’s good with weapons and giving advice, both with fighting and everyday life. Good listener etc.


Weaknesses: She can be infuriatingly calm/unreadable and will laugh in people’s faces if she hears complaints. She has a phobia of birds and doesn’t trust them. She usually says the wrong thing at the wrong time, just to see people’s reactions.


Background: She grew up in her family’s dojo, learning how to fight from a very young age. She was the eldest, so she expected to inherit the dojo from her father, but he gave it to her younger brother because she was a woman. She went her own way, not agreeing with some of the dojo’s principles.
She founded a small mercenary band alongside a Hairyama and they were hired for odd jobs. Quatya didn’t accept jobs of a questionable nature, much to the Hairyama’s displeasure, but they got along fine.
After a couple years, while on a job they ran into an unfamiliar pokemon. He was alone and wounded, but refused any help they offered. So the band decided to kidnap him and took him back to base, him being too weak to refuse. Quatya found out he was indeed a legendary Rayquaza. She later found out he was Rufus, and in time, he grudgingly trusted them. They found out he was good with a blade so put him to work. He was hesitant at first, but took to it like a duck in water. Quatya and Rufus had a mutual respect for each other, and soon he left the band of mercenaries to create a guild where he could teach fighters.
Years later, Rufus called Quatya in, the band having been disbanded, to run the Weapons shop in Dezzaviit. She agreed and much to his displeasure will tell any fighter some of the more humorous stories of Rufus in the Mercenary band.


Other:
- Its hard to tell if she’s actually blind because of her eyes and the fact that she does look straight at things. Her eyes were more normal when she and Rufus were in the mercenary thing.
- She seems to get physically tired at times, and stays in her house alone
- She gives off a weird vibe. For whatever reason, she just seems weird at first glance.
- She sells any kind of weapon you can think of from bazookas to pin needles.
