Herbie: Mum said that ever since the Mushroom War came, people began pleading for gods to aid them or save them. While some gods chose to remain silent and blind, there were those that answered their calls; and those who did made a choice to either go back to the heavens or abyss, or remain grounded to live a life among the mortals.

The forest I lived in, known as the Olden Woods, became the home or beckoning grounds of four gods who made a pact with one another as its guardians; The Leaf Lord, who's beauty matches her ferocity and cunning wisdom, looks after the winds. The God of the Lost, who's horrible features contrasts his kind and humble nature, is one with the earth. A cheerful demigod known by the Sunspot, who's flames ignites warmth and trails the sunlight to the forest life. And lastly, the Great War god Chuck, who's the physically strongest of the pact, commands the rain, thunder and lightning, his grand weapons and the only visage that reflects his uncontrollable power.

While these gods resides in our forest, they do very little to mingle with mortals like you and me; though, some of them can be beckoned with, but I can't really say they'll agree with you all the time...

((Okay, yes, I'm expanding the mythos of herbie's Kingdom by coming up these guys. These are four gods that represents four elements commonly found in a forest. The symbols next to them are their seals, which, if imprinted, is known to be the god's own sigil of recognition and respect. They can't be easily imprinted, as only deities are allowed to do so, so having them imprinted on an armor, weapon, or even tattooed usually mean these gods is impressed/respecting/recognizing the tool or the moral bearing it. (meaning, if you have it, you're good. Real good!)

So here's a little bit for info about them:

The Leaf Lord- A goddess of the wind and leaves, she has a high standard about herself and sees mortals to be very expendable creatures. If she would help a mortal, it would be only if she's begged for miserably by the mortal, or pressured (or tasked) by her fellow gods.

Other than that, she would use her powers taking care of the forest, guiding pollen and falling leaves, as well as causing winds for the wild life.

God of the Lost- perhaps the only god who would openly show himself to mortals without being beckoned (with the exception of heavy favors, recited through a child's poem under special circumstances), he is associated with grass, earth and trees, as well as a deity who claims to guide fallen animals into reincarnation. He's most benevolent and very humble, looking after lost children or guide travelers back to their homes or to something said travelers would be looking for. (However, the latter claim is only possible if what the object the mortal is looking for is worth the find.)

Out of the four, he's the only god who oppose of violence, though he can command animals to defend the forest if needed.

Sunspot- a demigoddess of fire, Sunspot is the youngest of the four and the most playful. Her task is to guide sunlight through the forest and level them so the forest wouldn't get burned. Although, due to her playful nature, she would also be the cause of some forest fires erupting.

Sunspot is actually made out of two deities: the humanoid female flame attached to a large simple minded ball of fire who acts as her steed.

Chuck- A powerful war god associated with lightning, thunder and rain, he represents the strength of storms pass and to come, carrying the head fo a fallen serpent that he once wrestled with. He's by far the strongest and largest among the four gods, and also the least to talk.

Legend has it that his voice was never heard by any mortals due to the slightest whisper can destroy them; to practice restraint, he barely talks even among his fellow gods, and would point directions for his tasks.

First created God of the Lost and even have his first role here, while Chuck's a re-visioning of The Great war God "Chuck Norris". (which started as a joke...) The other two are originals made to fill in the gaps. Might do more pics about them.

You can RP with them if you like. I dunno about questions, but you could try...))
