Description

Since I did a shot of my Modus Transportatus yesterday, I figured I should share my "Bag of Tricks" (A TravelPro Crew 5 "Rolling Tote"... which is apparently so old that I cannot find even an decent archived page with "Stats" on it. O.O! This [link] is the best of what I could find.. O.o!) today. This is my work "Satchel", "Case", "Bag"? Pick One. In this I can carry all the things I need for Sustenance, Entertainment (For the longer, "Need to be There", but don't need to be constantly "Engaged" shifts), Scheduling, and whatever else pops my fancy / need. It's sturdy, it's got a dozen pockets, it's got a shoulder strap, handles, and even Wheels! ;P I found it for a steal at an Estate Sale last year, and I've never regretted the purchase.

One item of note there would be my decrepit Toshiba Satellite Laptop ([link]). That thing is less powerful than my Cell Phone (An HD7 [link]), and yet it's what I've got. (I can't currently afford to upgrade it for anything resembling a fair price. In fact, the only reason I grabbed this to replace my last $20 Laptop (A DELL Latitude CPi [link], that I got Wary Puppy [link] Running on after several tear filled nights! ;P), was because it was also about $20 (Or $40, I don't recall anymore). It runs Lubuntu [link] passably, which means I've "Technically" got access to all of Ubuntu's [link] Applications... but still...

The other Item of Note would be the Starbucks' Tumbler. Now, as I live in Seattle, it's written into the law here that you cannot "Like" Starbucks, no matter what your "Outside of Seattle" "Experience" with them has been. At Best, you can tolerate them if they're unusually convenient to where you need to be. I'm talking, "They set up a Coffee Stand outside of the entrance to your work", or better, "They Set up a Coffee Stand INSIDE of your work" convenient... and even then, there cannot be another Coffee Stand of any kind within reasonable walking distance from your normal walking route (Give or take a Mile). Otherwise, no, Just No. That said, they make a Phenomenal tumbler, that just can't be beat, or at least, I haven't seen it's like anywhere else. I could "Probably" Find the Manufacturer online and then order an unbranded tumbler... but that would be too much like work... ;P (And Side Note: No I Can't! I was going to do "Just That", and then post the link as a joke... but apparently EVERYTHING I OWN is ancient, and impossible to find Online. O.O!)

[Photo Observation] Okay, so I wanted to "Show Off" the "Many Pockets" of the bag... but if I'm honest with myself, the presentation could have been better. Two Items of Note here though, No Flash, and I had a Lamp targeted at the bag to provide the Lighting I "Thought" I wanted. This particular shot didn't actually have the "Best" lighting from the bunch (My "Lighting Girl" was wearing out holding a Floor Lamp above her head and pointing it down at the bag... >.> ) but I liked the "Overall Presentation" better, so this was it. ;P
