{ / } — "Oh my gosh. At first I thought she was a charmer, and I was drawn to her in part, I admit, because she's the Silver-Fire's daughter, but she's so much more. I almost can't believe I'm saying this, but she's my friend. And perhaps one day, she will be something more. Or so I hope. … But, I'm not the only one who likes her. I have to be prepared for when she chooses someone else over me."

Edit — { / } — "After a while, I came to think that Maika for sure had her eyes set on Kehri, but when I spoke to her about it, she told me it wasn't solid. Yet, how could it not be? The way he makes her act, and the way she looks at him… It was like she was saying… [link]. I… I broke it off… I don't want to get caught in the middle."

I don't really dislike her, even after what happened between us, it's just… I feel like she dislikes me, and like Kehri is feeding her rumors about me. P/D — "It pains me to say that Ross has passed away. Reflecting on my scarce time spent with him, he was still a respectable cat. He lost the fight between life and death, but he did so honorably. I heard he saved Warrun's life. I'm sure he'll be missed."

{ // } — "She was chosen to replace Ordelis as the Yellow-Air not too long after I arrived here. I don't know much about her yet, but I'll support her; unlike many others at that gathering, I would like to be on Miss Tara's good side."

Edit — { / } — "Aiolos is gone. I won't go into detail about that, but I was surprised at how strong Tara was, even after the death of our leader. She's the new Silver-Air, and I respect her, because, if not for anything else, for surviving the war against the caimans and staying strong throughout it. { // } — "I crashed into a little get-together between this cat and the Yellow-Fire. It was really weird - that crazy tom tried to light Zenobia on fire. Wonder what she did to piss him off? He said something about Aujir and murder. I never really figured out what happened, but I do know that I probably saved this Orange-Air's life. She did stupidly yell my name in front of the Yellow-Fire, though, and due to that, I find that I'm not very enthusiastic about associating myself with her."

{ / } — "I ran into this Pink-Earth while I was hunting in Nightwatch Forest. I could tell immediately that I didn't like her, and she didn't like me. So, of course everything went downhill from there. She fought back, and wasn't half bad, but that meant that I had to take it a little too far to assert myself. Another Earth-Triber got in my way before I could finish, so now I just look like a jerk. Ugh. I wasn't going to kill her. She has that scar on her neck because her tribemate tackled me and threw off my aim. If that hadn't happened, she would've merely gotten away with some claw-marks on her shoulder. It's not my fault she almost died, but now everyone who knows about that incident thinks I'm a monster."

Edit — { / } — "I'm a Green now, and she's a Pink/Orange. Thinking back on our original meeting, I admit I took it too far but at the time I was just not up for any bullshit. Sorry, kid, I got ahead of myself back there."

When we met, Shasta seemed to think that there was some kind of light in me - some trace of goodness - and I was positive that she was completely mistaken. However, that was then, and this is now. I think she's managed to convince me, to be honest. Just to think, if I'd never met this she-cat, who knows where I'd be? Ah… I was sinking, when I met you, you know. Drowning in agony for which I could only blame myself… You were - and still are - my light, Shasta. You were the one who guided me back to the surface."

I just… I want to be there for her, like she was there for me. We met again when I was hunting in Air-Tribe territory; she came all the way there just to see me, can you believe it? We tussled in the grass for a bit before she asked me to come with her to Earth-Tribe. We're going there. We're finally seeking out Rey's permission to become mates… I just hope all goes well."

She really dislikes Kena, I can tell. I wonder why? Kena is really a nice she-cat. But I must confess that I'm glad Maika doesn't look at me like that. Anyway… Kena used her abilities to force Maika into the water, and as much as I like Kena, I couldn't tolerate her treating my tribe-mate like that. I used my own abilities to knock Kena off her feet while Soren went to help Maika out of the river. He seems pretty decent himself, it's just that he's the Yellow-Earth that gets me."

I have a feeling that he talks smack about me all the time, and though I would honestly appreciate if he wouldn't slur my name (I have enough cats hating me already) I can't exactly blame him for harboring a dislike for me. Really, though, I didn't intend to scar him when I played that little prank on him. It was meant to be a joke, for Spirits' sake."

{ / } — "He's got a thing for Maika. A Light-Triber. I'll tell you something, he doesn't deserve her. He may be kind to her - or so she says - but he was a total prick when I came into the picture.

Edit — { // } — "Whatever… He can be nice to her all he wants now. Just watch him still judge me for having had a crush. I don't want him to hate me, because even as a healer he doesn't seem all bad but with the way he acts towards me, of course I'm not his biggest fan. I've let go of what happened with Maika and I, why can't he do the same?"

Edit — { // } — "So I hear he's the new Yellow-Light… That's kind of a scary thought. I would've never thought him the type to be chosen for a position of authority, but ah well. Nothing I could do about it even if I wanted to."

In fact it was a bit rude to just go and try to heal me without my consent, but whatever. I'll let it slide this time."

P/D — { / } — "He's… he's… dead… My first friend in the tribes… Hell, the first tribe cat I ever met! He's gone. I warned him not to try to leave, I knew it, I knew he wouldn't last out there! Guess how long he lasted? Guess.
…Less than a minute.
His paw caught on a rock, and he began to crash down the mountainside. His skull split open as he neared the bottom, the blood streaming out of it and pooling all around him. And I, I was powerless. Fucking powerless. I had lain with him for about half an hour before I could really bring myself back to my feet.
This kid was really something, you know.
I wish I'd realized sooner, how much he meant to me… It wasn't until he was within death's cruel grasp that I figured it out.
I wonder what he thought of me then? If he regretted anything he did or didn't do? I wonder what he thought… of my family…
I claimed his tail charm for myself that day, and I took his body back to Light-Tribe with another Green-Light in tow. I hope he's in a better place now, I really, really do…"
