Fairy Slave

I was contemplating doing a fairy piece when I started reading Monsoon by Wilbur Smith. Set in the late 1600's, part of the book is about the slave trade in Africa. It started me imagining what would happen if slavers were able to enter the land of the fae. As a result this artwork is a lot darker in tone than I had originally intended.
