Lucifer Mithras - Ref Sheet

So I had this weird idea of drawing another Ref Sheet for one so far not drawn character of mine, and thus I started drawing this picture, which took me longer than expected to be honest
Anyways, I think the work and time spent into this one was worth it ovo; Ahem... I hereby present to you, Lucifer Mithras, another being to join the Angel squad... or something like this~

And since I haven't drawn that many pictures of the Angel-related Character's so far... have some self-advetisement 8D *slapped*

Back to this picture... I started the first sketch of Lucifer's adult form four days ago and finished him in a two day marathon (I was highly motivated, seriously!), where I barely caught enough sleep to call it "healthy" at all. Afterwards I started off with the basic layout of the reference sheet. I used my laptop's wallpaper size as size reference, for me that's just the perfect size for any reference and stuff. It happened that there was a lot of empty space left and I began to think about what to put in there. A back view? Nah... I don't think anyone (besides me, maybe) will ever draw Lucifer from the back. Alternate Outfits? Well, a nice idea, but drawing another adult Lucifer? D': No way. Thus I sticked with the "draw him as a child" idea, as he also appears as a child at some parts of my character's story...

The biggest mistake I made? Rough traditional sketch, which I turned digitally by sketching over it again using my tablet. Yeah... it's not like I corrected the goddamn sketch all day long afterwards to get a somehow acceptable sketch to ink or something I don't know what I was thinking, seriously. Anyhow, after having spent the whole last day into turning this digital excuse for a sketch into something I could work with everything else was rather quickly done. Half sized characters happen to be shaded more easily to my mind lol I should draw more children *glares to Aranea*

Yeah... what else to say? As mentioned before I'm really happy about how this one came out, especially the older version of Lucifer o: I guess it is needless to say that I took Ezio's outfit from Revelations as main reference for Lucifer's clothes o^o I really like the Assassin's outfits .A.; Besides that, the glowing thing that accompanies adult-Lucifer happens to be Pharos soul. A clingy little soul. Besides floating around it is not capable of any special powers. It can't even properly communicate with Lucifer or anyone else, so yeah..., it's just a "simple" wandering soul, glowing in the dark, being fancy side-kick, okay?

Having the profile being completed by now would be quite helpful to explain a lot of things >: nah...

So, to bring this description to an end: I'll continue working on my work-list now while keeping up with my studies again from now on. My Botanics exam will take place in exactly 3 weeks, my Cell- and Molecular Biology exam waits for me in 4 weeks. And guess what, I didn't do anything in the last week besides drawing, watching cartoons, sorting cards and spent some time with my lovely boyfriend. Study-Motivation, kick in again, please! D:

For now I'll crawl into bed I guess. I won't be able to get any decent sketch done at this time anyway o^o
