Rumors were being reported of a mare stalking a lake, some rumors claiming her foal had drowned and she stayed to keep its body company, unable to accept the loss of her child. Whether it's true or not, we may never know, no body was ever found. When it was reported that the mare was a Nordanner, iEcho claimed the opportunity to catch the mare, which deemed no easy task. Any time she got near enough the mare would disappear into the fog, the faint lines of her auralight disappearing into the thick Greece fog. But night after night she'd return to the lake. And night after night iEcho tried to no avail, bringing Daz along with her, hoping the stallion would keep the mare calm, but no such luck.

Jiannis laughed at her attempts, finding it immensely amusing that she couldn't catch the mare, and sometimes when she'd arrive home she'd be covered in muck.

One day on her way out, Jiannis stopped her, smiling as he whispered. "Take a foal, if that's what she's after then maybe one could persuade her to come near you." iEcho nodded, taking the Tabby foal who seemed in touch with his inner "ghosts".

Flix seemed calm enough, trotting around the pasture, and even splashing in the pond, seemingly oblivious to iEcho's plans, he'd watch her as she'd call him and he'd come, accepting the treats she gave him, and then back to playing. The hours seemed to drag on as she waited out this wiley mare. Sure enough about midnight the ghostly mare seemed to come out of nowhere. Her ears perked at the foal, she whinnied calling to him, trying to get him to come to her, but he stayed near iEcho, in the company of the now white Stallion Daz. The mare paced, instead of running like she normally did, watching them with her icy blue eyes. It took a few hours but the mare finally accepted iEcho's presence, and come up to the small group, wary, but she sniffed iEcho's outstretched hand.

"Lady of the Lake, you are a mighty clever one, mighty gorgeous to."

Excited she softly slipped a halter on the mare, who didn't seem to mind as long as she was in the presence of the foal.
