Heroine Prime 3: Chapter 6

Kara seemed a bit disappointed but gives into her cousins reasoning. Kal-El decides to take her to the Midvale Orphanage where he would meet with the headmaster Mister Dixon. It was unusual for Superman to appear as he disguises Kara by wearing regular clothing and a brunette wig. Inside the headmaster’s office, Mister Dixon asked about the young woman.

“Her name is Linda Lee?” he asks Superman.

“Yes, I rescued her from a natural disaster, and apparently her parents did not survive.” replied Superman.

“I see, and I take it she is fifteen years old?”

“Sixteen!” fired back Kara.

“Well, then I guess I can't refuse the man of steel, now can I. Although I'm not sure she will be adopted at such an age. But she seem very bright, and should fit in hear nicely.” stated Mr. Dixon.

“I am sure she will, headmaster.” replied Superman.

With all the paperwork finalized, Kara began her life as Linda Lee while Kal-El headed back to Metropolis in hopes that Clark Kent
absence was not noticeable.
