moonbeam13 recently posted a journal about the Gallery Makeover Project. The project talks about the changes that have already occurred within the Galleries here on deviantART. When the new 'submit' became live, it was important that all the gallery descriptions were updated and the thumbnail examples accurate. Now it's time to look at the galleries themselves!

The CV team is working alongside moonbeam13 to act as a port of communication for you to share what you think needs to be changed within the galleries. So, because of this, 3wyl and I are asking you what you'd like to see changed within the Photography Galleries or whether indeed, everything should just stay the same!

Sometimes, sub-categories can be very confusing and there are a fair few galleries within Photography that have an extensive amount of sub-cats. Are there too many? Do you think there needs to be an addition somewhere, or would it be better to remove some sub-categories? Do things need to be renamed? Whatever the case, drop your comments on this article and let's get a discussion going!

I agree with ColdEthyl13 1000%. The AN section is a joke. I've reported countless submissions that have guys with blatant hard-ons, chicks spreading themselves wide open, people drawing stick figures in MS paint, and fully clothed people, and almost every single one of them are STILL there. What's the point of reporting miscats and violations if nobody ever does anything about it? Photography can be enough of a challenge, but people who participate in creating artistic nudes, especially the models who are literally putting everything out there, deserve some freaking respect and a place to have their bravery commended. The last thing these people should have to put up with is being stuck next to some exhibitionist with a boner and some 10 year old who drew a stick figure. Talk about a slap in the face.
