Flash the Cat Chapter 7: Osen Town

Area: Flash’s Beach House

Time: 6:00 A.M.

Last time on flash the cat, flash and his friends left from dragon peek mountain with the red ruby scepter and returned back to flash’s beach house, a few minutes after they returned, flash heard someone outside, he managed to catch the person to find out it wasn’t just one person, but two young girls who share the same body, after arguing with the duo, flash felt ashamed for scalding the innocent girls and decided to let them stay at his house for the night.

Flash (waking up from his bed): *yawn*

Flash gets out of the bed and walks to the living room to see the two girls sleeping on the couch

Flash: I guess I should start breakfast

Flash walks to the kitchen, splish and splash wake up

Splash: *yawn* hey sis wake up it’s morning

Splish (half asleep): *yawn* ah, can’t we just sleep for a few more minutes

Splash: have it your way you’ll miss out on breakfast

Splish: Breakfast! Were?

Splash: that orange cat from last nights cooking some in the other room

Flash cracks an egg and puts it in a frying pan, then he puts some biscuits in the oven, he then turns around to see splish & splash standing next to him

Flash: huh?

Splish: is it

Splash: done Yet?

Flash: (they finish each other’s sentences, how strange) just a minute girls, it won’t be long

Spark wakes up and goes to the kitchen

Spark: hey bro, is breakfast almost done?

Spark then notices splish and splash sitting at the table

Spark: (holy crud, It wasn’t a dream)

Flash: um in a few minutes

Spark: ok then, I’ll just sit over here by uh, what’s your names?

Splish: splish

Splash: and splash

Flash: splish and splash huh, sounds like water

Splash: well we’re hydrokinetics

Flash: hydrokinetics, you mean you two have water powers

Splash: yes sir

Flash: (what would these two be doing in the emberian kingdom then, everyone usually has fire powers)


Lilly: *yawn* hey guys is breakfast ready yet?

Flash: sure is

Flash then puts the food on the table

Spark: hey flash can I ask why’re you cooking breakfast, you don’t usually cook, the only thing I’ve seen you operate is a grill

Flash: well we have guests over so I’m showing them my gratitude

Misty walks in the door

Misty: Hey Flash!

Flash: misty, once again you manage break into my hous

Misty: flash I can tell the difference between a fake rock and a real one.

Flash: yea I need to find a better hiding spot, but misty you can’t just come in my house without permission

Misty: well spark said it was ok

Flash looks at spark

Flash: mmm

Spark: I swear I only said it to her like five hundred times

Flash's face falls on the table

Misty: mmm bacon and eggs how original

Flash: *sigh* you know misty, I’m not one with a chefs diploma so this is all you’ll get out of me

Misty: well maybe you should take lessons

Flash: i’ll never have time for lessons, so splish and splash, have you two ever been to osen town

Splish and Splash look at each other in shock

Splash: uh no sir

Splish: we haven’t

Flash: well why was there oil on your ear

Splish finds a bit of oil on her ear

Splish: we um, we came from a gas station

Flash: there aren’t any gas stations around here, tell me, are you two from osen town

Splash: ok yes we live in osen town but it’s a horrible place there

Flash: well it doesn’t matter, I have to take you two back to your family

Splash: please don’t take us back

Flash: look girls, you can’t just run away from your home, I have to take you two back

Misty: flash, you’re really going to take them to osen town

Flash: misty, they’re parents are probably very worried about them and they need to be reunited

Misty: well you have a point there

Splish: no I won’t go back

Splish and splash run and hide under flash’s bed

Flash grabs their legs and pull them out

Flash: girls, please don’t do this

Splash: no please we don’t want to go

Spark: flash you said we could keep them

Flash: I didn’t say that

Spark: I wish you did

Splish and splash struggle to get away from flash

Flash: girls please

Splash tries to claw his face

Flash: hey don’t claw my face, misty help me here

Misty comes in

Misty: what should I do?

Flash: just hold their arms together

Flash goes and gets an rope and ties it around splish and splash’s hands

Splish: please please let us go

Flash: you two won’t stop fighting me so I’m going to have to drag you to your parents now

Misty: flash are you sure about this

Flash: of course misty, they need to see their parents again

Misty: fine then but I’m going with you for their protection

Flash: sure thing

Spark: I’m going to

Flash: uh fine it’s just a quick trip anyway, lilly you coming to?

Lilly: sure thing

Flash, misty, spark, lilly, head to osen town with splish and splash to return them to their home. They walk through the woods to get there

Flash: we should be there in about thirty minutes

Ruby: or half an hour

Ruby comes out from behind a tree

Flash: it’s you, the girl in the ruby dress

Ruby: I’ve already told you my name, I am ruby

Flash: what a coincidence your name is ruby, and you have a dress made of rubies

Ruby: what can I say, I like the color red, and you know else is red fire, and you know what cat makes fire, you

Flash: so you do like me

Ruby: in a way yes, I’m only trying to look out for you, you know keep you out of harm’s way

Flash: you haven’t done any of that

Ruby: oh trust me I will starting now

Ruby walks over to splish and splash

Flash: don’t you dare hurt those two

Ruby: hm

Ruby cuts the rope tied around their arms with her hand

Flash: what the!

Ruby: now If you two act up again around this kind cat again I’ll tie you back, understand

Splish: ye yes

Splash: whatever you say

Ruby: that’s what I thought

Ruby vanishes away

Splash: flash we’re sorry we misbehaved

Flash: (something’s not right with that ruby girl) what, oh um it’s ok, I understand how much you wish you two could leave home some times

Splash: I’m sorry I tried to scratch your face

Flash: it’s ok splash

They make it to osen town where they see a sky full of fog and ashes

Flash: what the heck happened to this place, it looks like a bomb went off

Splash: this town started looking like this a week ago

Flash: what?

Splash: the osen chemical plant had some kind of problem with one of the generators and now it produces more pollution into the air

Flash: pollution, no wonder this place smells like gasoline

Misty: this is just sad, there’s puddles of chemicals everywhere you look

Flash: is that why you two have two heads?

Splash: no we told you, we’re hydrans, it’s common for us to be born like this

Flash: why?

Splish: I suppose it’s in our species

Flash: hm, (a species that can co-exist with an extra head, how rough that must be) so
lets get you two back to your home

Splash: well we um

Flash: what’s the matter?

Splash: we don’t really have a home

Flash: you mean to tell me you two are homeless?

Splash: yes, we just travel place to place

Flash: that’s awful,

Splish: but we survive as long as we have each other

Misty: aw

Flash: hm, don’t worry, I’ll find you two a home

Splash: you mean it

Flash: absolutely

Flash then looks up at the osen chemical plant

Flash: but I think we have something else to take care of first
