As the Flash Community Volunteer one of my jobs is to let everyone know about projects/events and all sorts of fun things happening that the Flash community on deviantART could be interested in. At the moment the volunteers have been working on a Gallery Makeover Project for all of the galleries on deviantART.
At the moment we have these categories for Flash:
Animations
Games
Humour
Interactive
Interfaces
Intros
Movies
Utilities
When you submit your .swf file (your flash file) through the deviantart submit page these are the categories you have to choose from. At this stage I personally think that these categories don't need much of an overhaul as they work pretty well and are easy to understand.

As always, we love to hear the communities input and if you have any suggestions/changes/ideas you think would benefit this gallery makeover project I'm happy to hear them. Our goal is to reach out to the deviantART community and get as much feedback as possible and update all of the categories for each specific gallery.

Daily Deviations
Also, remember! If you come across any artwork that is in the flash category that you think is worthy of a Daily Deviation send a note my way.
I'm always on the hunt for flash pieces to feature.You can check what category an artwork is in by looking underneath the title and artist name of the deviation. I've added a screenshot as an example :3
