2 gryphons 2 dragons part 2

My eyes flew open to the sound of Solice screeching. I got up and tried to comfort her. But as I got close she slashed me across the face.

“Agh why did you do that?”

“Sorry, I woke up and saw we were in a strange place and you were out cold.” She said as she nuzzled my face.

“You do know that your talons are sharp ad I will be ok.” I said as I tried to comfort her.

Just as she calmed down the door to the room opened. Solice and I both looked towards the door a man in a white coat stepped into the room.

“I see that you’re awake.”  The man in the coat said.

“Why are we here?” I asked the man.

“You are here, beast because you are to be trained for your duties.”

“What if we refuse?”Solice asked.

“Then you will be subjected to what we here like to call the ‘will crusher’.” He said as he pointed to Solice’s neck. “That collar you have on will keep you from being disobedient. We have also put collars on the two dragons you see behind you.”

“YOU MONSTER. I’M GOING TO KILL YOU IF IT’S THE LAST THING I DO!” I screamed at the man who trapped the four of us here.

“Your feisty lets correct that.” He said as he pulled a remote from his coat and pressed a button on it. The next thing I know a huge amount of electricity starts going through my body. I couldn’t handle so much energy so I simply just collapsed. Steam rolled off of my body as Solice got in front of me. I saw her get ready to pounce the man. But he pressed a different button on the remote. Then the same thing happened to her.

“You gryphons are out of control. Good thing we have you restrained.” That was all I heard before roars shook the room. After I heard the roars I blacked out.

I woke up the next morning to the man, who I had just decided to call him the doctor, screaming at us to get. When we didn’t get up quick enough he shocked us again. When I got to my four legs as the four of us were now quadruped, asked him what we were going to have to do for him. He just laughed and said it doesn’t concern a mindless beast like you. That made my blood boil, I just wanted to rip the heart out of the guy. He led us to the place we were going to be working for the rest of our “training”. The work normally consisted of moving heavy loads or doing manual labor that was too dangerous for humans to do.

At least we saw Si-ann and Daniel and we were able to talk to them. When we first saw them they looked like they had been through hell. There scales had multiple scratches and were cracked. Even their scales had lost the natural shine. The work or training as our captors called it continued for weeks. The four of us almost lost hope until one day when we were working and the power went out. When the power went out our collars unlocked. I ran over to Daniel and the girls with a huge smile on beak.

“Guys we can get out of here.” I said with enthusiasm.

“Ok but the lights are out how are we supposed to se…” Si-ann asked but was interrupted by her eyes adjusting to the lack of light and by the man who we first saw when we were captured who was yelling to capture us.

I cut off my collar and asked the three of them to keep still as I cut their collars off.

“Thanks Eros.” They said in unison

“No problem. Let’s just get out of here.”

They nodded as we started to run for the exit. We kept rounding corners and running down hallways until we saw sunlight at the end of a hallway. So we started running faster towards the light. We quickly stopped when we saw ten guards and the man who trapped us.

“How nice of you four to join us.” He said with a smirk on his face and the guards raised their guns. The guns looked like AR-15s. “Now why don’t you just come quietly and you won’t be killed.”

We just looked at each other and nodded. Out of nowhere we started running towards the guards. Si-ann and Daniel started to breathe fire at the guards before they could react. They missed the doctor but that was just fine with me. I jumped on the doctor and tore into his chest ripping his heart out while he was screaming in pain.

“See I told you I would kill you.” I said in his face with an evil grin. I watched his expression of horror on his face and watched the lights of his eyes leave.

I got off his body and walked out of building with my friends alive. We all opened our wings in silence and started flying into the sky away from that horrible facility. The good thing was that they wanted us to be able to fly when they had “trained” us to be obedient.  So like the fools they were they helped us learn to fly.
