let me hear you scream

I absolutely love this female equine.  She's a very complex character who decides what's a joke or an insult and lives on blood and flesh, even her own kind if they manage to make her very mad. She's very robust, being mistaken for a stallion, and, as you can see, has large twisted horns with fangs. Like a shadow in the night, only her fangs and horns can be seen since her eyes are black.

I chose a dark background rather than a sunny day near a volcano since it fits Syrilth entirely with her dark side that is...disturbing (yet fun to explore) since she is slowly succumbing to the thirst of blood and flesh. I didn't make her eyes entirely black since, one, the lighting of the lava, and two, I wanted it to pierce through the viewer.

This piece was VERY fun to do, challenging yet fun, and it's wonderful to get back into manipulation. This took around two days to do (48 hours, not counting the breaks I took). My favorite part was paniting the mane and tail and using the pen tool to create the fangs~!
