I may as well confess right up front: When I think of Brazil the first image my brain creates is a young woman with a cute figure, long hair, a nice tan and a T-back thong—at the beach, of course. What can I say? Life is short and we may as well enjoy it, albeit indirectly via photographs.

:D

As for your house, well, I imagine it to be airy: awning windows or jalousies, a porch or veranda, plus central air conditioning for really-hot days and really-cold nights. Of course, it's probably nothing like that; but it's what I imagine.

Thing is, I moved to Miami in Florida at 12 years of age and spent the first year acclimating to a sub-tropical climate; i.e., continuously swatting mosquitoes, sweating copiously and desperately searching for cool air which didn't exist. Only wealthy people had air-cooled homes in those days, whilst we mere mortals had recourse to fans (which merely blow more hot air on you).
