Description

So it's another drawing of Shed/Sailor Millennium, this time as my qualification entry for :iconsenshi-pageant: I tossed in the Chibi drawing to make it a little different. She is an OC that crossovers the universes of Sailor Moon and Yugioh. Anyway, on to the questions:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us.
Hello. I'm Princess Shed of Egypt, also known as Sailor Millennium.
2. Tell us something that will help us remember you.
I'm from an alternate universe, one that has the Moon Princess Serenity married to the Egyptian Pharaoh Atem. They wed during the Silver Millennium and had me within a year.
3. Describe your typical day.
It's like your basic day in the life of a princess at least for the most part. Studies in the morning of politics; both national and interplanetary, then studies in history and sciences and such. Official meetings with my parents and the priests. Some days I get to join my father and the priests in making judgments on criminals -giggles a bit- Mother's not too fond of that. But that's usually how my day is when I'm not needed as a senshi.
4. What makes you happy and what makes you scared?
What makes me happy is the fact that my Father is quite proud of me being a senshi. He wasn't one of those pharaohs that badly wanted a boy for a child. He's always been quite supportive of me fighting, even when his priests have continually advised him against allowing it.
What makes me scared is not even related to being a senshi. It's whether or not I can make my father just as proud of me when take over to rule as he is of me as a senshi. Even though I know most likely he will be long gone to the afterlife by then, I hope I'll be able to do as good a job over our people as he does.
5. What do you find most challenging about being a senshi?
Dealing on a daily basis with the contempt that my father's priests give me because they feel they need to protect me since I'm a member of the royal family. My mother's guardian senshi on the contrary have accepted me and regularly stand up for me.
6. Who is your role model and how do they inspire you?
My role model is my father. Sounds like every other "Daddy's girl" I know. But he's got that strength to fight and keep going to protect our family and our home and our people. I've learned that sometimes difficult decisions have to be made on behalf of our people that could personally be something we're against but it's more important to put the people before ourselves.
7. What would you name your autobiography?
I would name it Child of the Golden Sands. Although I respect my Lunarian roots, I have a deep love for my home of Egypt.
8. Do you believe in fate/destiny, or do you believe you write your own story?
A bit of both really. I believe we're all destined for something. But what it is is up to us really. We determine what we're destined for.
9. Do you have other teammates? What are they like? If not, do you wish you had some?
Sometimes Mother's guardian senshi work with me, but for the most part, I work alone as a senshi. I do have an advisor, a black panther named Bastet, after one of the Egyptian Goddesses. It's quite an appropriate name if you think about it, considering Bastet is portrayed as a cat goddess.
10. What do you hope to accomplish by competing in this pageant?
To increase awareness of alternate universes and the possible senshi that are in them. How things in them can go so much differently from each other even if certain things are done the same. To give people something more to believe in, to encourage the belief that anything and everything is possible.
11. Do you have anyone special out there cheering for you? Would you like to give them a shout out? My parents and Bastet, oh and my friend Mana. She's a magician.
