Tamarack Park's first pony!

Scarlett's come into being by necessity; xoSapphy's new Georgian Grande mare needed a made-up dam, and this cross was the final decision. Envisioning a fluffy-wuffy tiny-winy ball of geno-cute, I just about pissed myself when xoSapphy said I could create this mare. :'D -dies-

She's got her own plot line at Tamarack Park already sort of in the works, but it'll definitely take a back seat to pretty much everything else.

Oh! And before I forget -- her sabino type isn't SB1. Her dam tested negative for it, but is certainly sabino, so... yeah. Just clarifying, although I don't have plans at all to breed her. :'D

However, since she's in her early teens at least, I suppose she could have already had a few foals on the ground. If you want to breed to her, note me.

Build: She's got a stocky little draft-pony body, all right! Scarlett's belly is a little distended from years as a broodmare, but even going into her senior years her back hasn't dropped any. She has kind of a blocky head, but it's not without pony cuteness; it's set on a surprisingly long neck, which sits high on her shoulders. Both her shoulders and her hindquarters have good slope and muscle to them, but she's got more fat than muscle at this point -- she's out of shape! She's got strong bones and strong feet, and enough hair to put Robin Williams to shame. She'd be best complemented by a more refined stallion, to take away some of the boxiness (unless that's what you're after, and then she's perfect!).
Temperament: Scarlett is actually not at all like her namesake, Scarlett O'Hara. Scarlett-the-Pony is sweet, even-tempered, extremely docile, and just about literally bomb-proof. She's the type of pony that, if a small child were between her hind legs, under her belly, and pulling on her tail, Scarlett would ask the nearest adult for some food to help pass the time. If anyone's had a scare around horses, Scarlett is the perfect pony to rehabilitate confidence. Under saddle, she takes care of her rider; she'll never give trouble the rider can't handle. Scarlett will pack children over hunter courses and trails all day long, and she's happy to give larger humans less demanding rides every so often. She's really lovely in that way!
