University work, only 3 weeks left before the exhibition now
This painting started off with so many different ideas and titles, that i don't even know what it is about myself, i'll let you decide on that. In some ways it reminds me of a lullaby. I also noticed that a lot of it relates to my childhood (i used to climb trees A LOT, had 2 cats and i used to collect dolphins, pretty sure one of my ornaments looked similar to the painting of the dolphin here)
I am trying to make the next set of paintings relate to my own life, 'reach for the stars' means taking chances, living your dreams, which is what i am trying to do, whether this painting shows any sign of that... i don't know, it wasn't what i was aiming for, it was more about my childhood if anything.
I know the lighting is not great in some places, that was not really a priority for this, especially since the light is coming from everywhere because of the stars. My tutor told me to try and not make things as figurative as i usually do, so certain things are not as detailed as i would like... i have been stepping out of my comfort zone a little bit for the sake of a good mark, hopefully i get it
I will also try and get a better photo asap. I used my crappy little digital camera for this, but will be borrowing a camera from the uni to photograph all my paintings for my portfolio.

I definitely needed the comments to figure out what was going on in this scene, though I somewhat figured out the "innocence" of it as far as the childhood refs went. Interesting!
